Man I just love this kid. He was doing it all tonight. Spacing the court. Taking his man off the dribble. Made some sweet dishes. Switching and playing excellent defense. Playing with energy. Just a terrific, young player.

He plays at least, like a 4th year player.

    I'm so impressed by him

He just makes the right plays. Takes his shots within the flow of the offense. Talks on defense. Willing passer. Basically, THAT'S MY DOG!!!

Kuzma and Hart might be the most solid draft picks by the Lakers of the past several years as far as being most prepared physically and with less of a learning curve. Love watching them play.

The Lakers' draft team has been absolutely on fire the last few years.

    Julius Randle, Jordan Clarkson
D'Angelo Russell, Larry Nance, Anthony Brown (maybe the only real miss with Norman Powell/Richaun Holmes/Willy Hernangomez on the board)
    Brandon Ingram, Ivica Zubac
Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Josh Hart, Thomas Bryant

It's insanely rare for a team to pull NBA caliber players out of every draft. It's insanely rare for those players to come mostly in the late 1st round and early second. The drafts themselves have gotten stronger every year, but the Lakers' ability to draft has gotten stronger too. I believe wholeheartedly that if the 2016 draft were held again, Zubac goes in the lottery. I believe if the 2017 draft were held again, Kuzma is a Top 10 pick and Hart should probably be in the lottery.

Just incredible job they've done here. The key as well is all this cheap labor is going to play a major factor in 1) letting go of Jordan and Julius to make room and 2) being able to field a competitive team around two max players. I'm telling you guys, this draft is transformative. Even if we strike out next summer, we'll still have a solid young cache of players to build around.

Kinda reminds me of a Robert Horry with his shot.

I have a feeling he's going to be involved in many clutch plays down his career.

Cause you were on the Kuz train after 2 minutes of Summer League play and ready to enshrine him in the HoF.

And it's tough to go after John. His name is literally the salvation of the human race.

No sorry. Get it right. I was on the Kuz train as soon as I saw his basically one and only highlight youtube clip from Utah a couple days after we drafted him.

    BALLER.

Every time he shoots it, I think it's going in. Every time he has the ball in his hands, I feel comfortable.

If there's one thing Luke and coaching staff have nailed, it's finding time for Kuzma no matter what and letting him finish games. That takes a lot for a coaching staff to give a rookie all these minutes when we have Deng, Brewer and heck Randle on the squad that are either veterans who are getting paid a lot or they have shown some body of work over the course of an 82 game season that deserves more PT (Randle)....yet they play Kuzma before any of these guys

It was so great to see his three ball going in again last night. He was bombing them, every time he shot they almost immediately looked like they were going in. That sort of no-look pass to Randle on the baseline between two defenders that Randle finished nicely high off the glass was sweet too.
