Like I said earlier, there was waaaay too much WMCing after one game. It is just the Suns, but they are still 19 and 20 year old kids playing against NBA players.
My only critique....conditioning. You can tell he gets tired, but his second wind down the stretch was refreshing to see. Loved the aggression, even if the refs won't ever give him the call.
Best game I've seen from a rookie in a very long time in a Lakers uniform. Very, very, refreshing to see. He had IT tonight.
A couple plays were obvious fouls and no call. Late in the game, he had his arm being pulled as he tried to defend a guy going baseline. So obvious. Is it just a case of 'no-rookie" call or carry over from Lavar ?
And finished with the left hand. Love his temperament. Unfazed. Looking forward. Even like his defense. Doesn't panic and reach, keeps moving his feet, makes plays.
There you go kid. Love that late game takeover, thats the UCLA Ball. Glad he got to play with his running mate Kuzma more.
Ball 29/11/9 Fultz 6/3/1 Fox 9/6/10 Tatum 15/8/3BLK Jackson 12/0/0 Issac 9/1/3 Embiid 11/14/3 Simmons 11/11/5
I know it's the Suns but wow...this was impressive. This is a 19yr old rookie we're talking about here...and as you can see...Lonzo is already our best player. I gotta give some credit to Luke for putting the right combination of players out there with them tonight as opposed to game 1. That made a HUGE difference in opening up Lonzo's game tonight... Again I know it's the Suns, but we are playing on the second night of a b2b and it's Lonzo's first ROAD game and he couldn't have played any better. 29/11/9? Are you kidding me?
