At least they found out about this now while it's early, and hopefully nothing serious. Get better Josh!
sportsinjuryclinic.com says it's common to mistake for Achilles strain. Recovery not a problem however time frame is kind of vague though. Rest and ice, "A steroid injection followed by 48 hours rest may be given for persistent cases. If the bursitis is particularly bad and does not respond to conservative treatment then surgery is also an option." So that sort of runs the gamut of length, maybe someone around here is familiar with it. Worst I've ever done is strain my tv remote-control thumb.
Literally means inflammation if the bursa sacs "Bursitis is the inflammation of one or more bursae (small sacs) of synovial fluid in the body. They are lined with a synovial membrane that secretes a lubricating synovial fluid.[1] There are more than 150 bursae in the human body.[1] The bursae rest at the points where internal functionaries, such as muscles and tendons, slide across bone. Healthy bursae create a smooth, almost frictionless functional gliding surface making normal movement painless. When bursitis occurs, however, movement relying on the inflamed bursa becomes difficult and painful. Moreover, movement of tendons and muscles over the inflamed bursa aggravates its inflammation, perpetuating the problem. Muscle can also be stiffened." Irritating, but not lethal.
how this guy pickup so many injuries in such a short period of time, all the meanwhile playing just sparingly is shocking
Honestly, it seems like he is a puss. He barely plays and it takes him like 5 minutes to tweak something and sit out a couple of weeks, enjoying his time liking booty pictures on instagram. He is always hurt.
Huh, if your body letting you down, circumstances beyond your control makes you a puss, I guess I’m a huge puss. This place has really let me down lately with some of the terms used and sentiments being tossed around.
