Who cares who starts...its about who finishes!

And once again, who was in during the final minutes of the game?

This infatuation that he needs to start is low in priority compared to who's in when the game is on the line. Kuz is becoming that player!

I love that his play is having us debate on whether Luke should start him over BI at the 3, but Luke has already shown us his hand...dude is consistently earning minutes in the 4th and to close out games. Again, I would take that over a starting gig any day. It reminds me of how LO deserved to start for us, but Phil consistently had him close out our games. One day Kuz will be our starter, but for now, I'm more than stoked if he's one of those guys that are playing in the 4th when the game is on the line.

Kuzma's biggest asset might be he exhibits ZERO fear out there.

After his first SL game, I haven't once seen him look nervous, or hesitant, or get caught by the defense unsure of what to do next. He reads what the defense is giving him quickly, and makes a decision to go and he doesn't pass just because he's a rookie. He takes the shot if he has it, and passes it if he doesn't have the shot or a way to make a play.

I love the confidence! Wish Ingram had a bit of it.

Kuzma is going to help the team whether he's in there with starters or off the bench. My problem is no one on the bench knows how to get him the ball. Especially when he's in the game with Clarkson. I'd love to see him on the court with Ball. Summer League all over again. Let them gel during this season and see where they are.

Hey Luke, this team needs stars starting. Enough of the standard horse s*** rhetoric of scoring from the bench. This team needs scoring from starters.

    Starters
    Ball
    KCP
    Kuzma
    Randle
    Lopez

    Bench
    Ennis
    Clarkson
    Ingram
    Nance
    Bogut / Zu

Solid team, capable of pushing for playoffs. Lopez and Kuzma will make the paint wide open for Randle.

Does Luke have the cajones to make Ingram a bench player ?

Yep. My main reason for him starting.

You don't do that -- ensure he has at lease 20 minutes of shared time with Lonzo. The way to do it, apparently, is to let BI play 6 minutes. Then sub him out for KUZ. Then sub Lonzo out for BI -- with BI playing PG.

    Luke is strange.

They aren't going to give up on Ingram that quickly, sorry everyone. The staff will want to see all of the projected starters in together before they make a decision like that I'm fairly sure.

Let's be patient and see what the starters can do together - we haven't seen our squad at full strength with Ball, KCP, Ingram, Randle and Lopez. Until we see that for a little bit the staff won't know if they will be the best lineup or not. But more power to Kuzma for playing so well that many here are even considering him starting.

What's become undeniably clear is that Kuzma should be taking most of the bench minutes away from Nance, Brewer and Deng. He's better than all of them combined. And he's our future.

I think it would be good for Ingram to build some game up playing against a second unit. I want out best unit starting. Don't like these first quarter deficits we have seen all too often. Start Kuz and play him a lot. Ingram will be a great player. Just needs some help. Kuz is ready to roll. Ingram can take the challenge and step up.

They really should send Kuzma to Puerto Rico with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish. Let's give that territory some real relief!

Uneven game from Kuzma tonight... Did well in the third but faded down the stretch. Missed shots that I was expecting to drop. Missed a bunny lefty with a smaller defender on him and a tip. Had the gumption to take the shot that Ingram passed on down four. Joe Johnson took him to school on a face up J and a post up. Did not faze him however.

Kuz's 3pt shot was off tonight (only 2 for 7), but he still managed to score 18 on 5-14

I like that he still finds a way to score and have an impact even on bad nights

Mark Jackson raved about Kuzma...talked of him at the three spot.

ESPN: How would you scout yourself?
Kuzma: (In not so many words) I ain't givin' you s**t. :)

Really like this kid. That one spinning move in the second around the defender on the open floor for a jam had me just laughing inside and shaking my head.
