Yeah the teams as I understand them were (out of 17 guys since Lopez, Bogut, and Hart were out): Lonzo, Kuzma, Brewer, Blue, T. Bryant Randle, KCP, Deng, Caruso, Zimmerman, Ennis Ingram, Weber, Zubac, Nance, Beachum, Clarkson So if anything, I'm wondering how Ingram's team did.
Yeah think about the rest of the team: Brewer, Deng, Ennis, Weber, Zubac, Clarkson, Kuzma, Blue, Bryant, Beachum, Caruso, and Zimmerman. Randle, Nance, Ingram, Ball, and KCP should be able to run everyone else out of the gym pretty easily.
I'd like to see what Lonzo could also do with a team on the floor of the more talented big guys on the roster only. He's probably capable of making that work to some high degree as well if they can shoot. And would be another option against bigger, more physical teams.
They'll probably look into it at some point, but half our big guys aren't here. I want to see Lonzo/Ingram/Kuzma/Randle/Nance. Crazy length and athleticism. Of course it'll only work if Ingram and Randle can actually shoot like we're being told.
That right there, is a gorgeous thing. The man can dictate an entire team without even putting the ball in the basket.
Probably the biggest skeptic on his game was me..and I still am interested to see how parts for his game translate. Either way, we need him to be special. A star if you will....let us pray he is...
How many people can do that? Rodman, Magic, Kidd, Ben Wallace... Probably a couple more. But when you get one of them, you milk it for all it's worth. BRING ON THE SEASON!
