We all knew Zu was playing in glorified pick up if youre a 7footer in summer league. Was a blessing in disguise.
zu looked better, obviously. but i wasn't that worried by his sl performance. i think he'll get 15mpg this year because it will be hard to keep lopez and bogut on the floor, and we can't play super small at 5 for long stretches.
i don't like how they're handling zu despite his crappy SL performance, he showed potential last season and now he's glued to the bench? way to stunt his development
I'm not broken up about it. He hasn't shown me anything this year. Bogut is a better player. And I don't mind Randle at Small Ball 5 so far.
Bogut won't hold up, so Zu will get his time. In the meantime, he could stand to learn from the old lions on the depth chart in front of him. Humble pie is delicious.
I like Zubac, but you can't compare him to Bogut just yet. He'll get his chance. Now is the time to learn, and he has two good centers to learn from - offensively and defensively.
Changes ends as fast as Lopez making moves on the low block. Could be of use against slower half court teams who dump in down low. The Seventies are gone however. Seriously...I hope Zu keeps his head together and not get frustrated.
