I watch Zero reality TV, & I'm not about to start now... Only reality TV I'm interested in is what happens on the Court.
Reality TV is the bane of human existence. I do not want to know when you crap, eat and why you are what you are. I care about one thing and one thing only. Lonzo Ball becomes the baddest PG in the NBA and brings banners to Staples. That is why I revolve my life around Lakers games and go to the Arena to watch the games. I like my teams winning and winning a lot. I like the entertainment of winning and the sport. Watching what they do when they go to Ralph's or Home Depot is a f***ing waste of life and you should be ashamed of yourself for calling that entertainment. If I want to watch a bunch of schleps go grocery shopping, I can follow all the mummy parents I see at PTA meetings at my kids schools and watch them schlep around.
LOL take it easy. Not everyone finds the same things entertaining. I know plenty of people that would rather pluck their eyes out than watch a bball game. To each their own (except teen mom and big bang theory - those shows can go to hell)
I never really watched reality TV besides a few episodes years ago. This had more of a Backstage Lakers feel to it. Not offensive at all actually. I thought I might throw up, but instead I watch both episodes back to back, and look forward to future episodes. Unless something changes of course.
Interesting opinions so far from those who have watched the episodes. Sounds to be more family oriented rather than the usual grandstanding, contrived drama that plagues most shows of this ilk. No desire to check it out but one thing I like so far is that the Lakers have barred filming during the season and the Ball patriarch is fine with it.
I highly recommend watching the Ball show. Actually gives a lot more insight into what Lonzo is all about too in terms of personality, and how Lavar actually is with his family (including his wife)
I get the general disgust with anything even perceived as a reality show, but like others have said, this is far more like Back Stage Lakers than anything else. I'm actually looking forward to the next episode, and I didn't think I would even care before I watched the first two. Still, to each his/her own
