Typed in Herb Simon's name and what'dya know? He's got a house in So Cal, Monticeto. Looks to be a bit more than a summer home.

Kyrie to Boston for IT, Crowder, Zizic, and a first rounder.

My gut reaction is that this makes it more likely that Lebron leaves Cleveland.

It certainly doesn't make them better. Kyrie wasn't great on defense, but IT can't play it at all. This feels more like a future move for Cleveland, with the Nets pick and IT likely walking if they won't give him max.

I don't know about this . Crowder is a good defender , can hit open jumpers .. IT is a terrible defender but he's bringing more intensity/edge than Kyrie.

Also the BK pick could be flipped for a veteran .

Does this Kyrie trade make Bron to the Lakers more realistic? What do you think guys?

    Yes.

In my opinion, this move makes Lebron more likely to leave. I think that the trade is reasonable, but is definitely hedging toward the Lebronexodus from Cleveland. The deal facilitates not losing the departing players for nada.

IT will reveal similar flaws to Kyrie and the inability to turn the corner will see GSW defeat them again. If I was Lebron's ego, I would subconsciously prefer to sabotage the playoff run, lose in the ECF finals rather than see Durant get a back to back finals MVP and to tarnish his NBA finals record again. If he can lose in an earlier round, blaming management for no help, possibly use an injury to bow out it would not exactly make sense, but create an excuse (a poor one yes) to cut clean from the land of Cleve. That way he leaves to a new exciting destination with a ready minted excuse.

If he loses to the C Bags he is gone.

The trick is who does he go to? Every Laker win and every Cleveland stumble is a win for us. Oh and while we are at it I hope Blake Griffin hits a trainer with a steel plate in his head and shatters his fist for suggesting the Knicks. If we can show real growth, we can haul in Lebron.

Let me just say that I hate Lebron for his personality and entitlement. I am above nobody in taking the high road, despite not being as vociferous as some of our esteemed members. That being said I take Lebron. I cannot think of time where we would not take a top fifteen player of all time, and top three if not top player in the league into our franchise. Lebron is that player we take. He may be such a derriere that he has a proctologist as a GP, but if our plane needs a pilot I want the Ace, if we are ailing as a franchise I want House as my physician and surgeon. It seems that Rob, Magic and Ball are vital to speak this into existence.

Rob is busy writing his sermon and you sho'nuff best believe that his Bible story isn't going to be Revelation with Lebron being the antichrist. I will full body cringe if he starts going full JC in his allegory though.

Lebron is the top of the FreeAgent market. This whole year needs to be a commercial for Lebron. If he perceives he can be put in a better position by going elsewhere, he will go without looking back. Fundamental to this that signing Lebron will have to have another major player. This may be his last role at the championship dice as the man, and quite rightly he will make his decision for himself.

This decision proves the Lakers remain major players and erases the hazy and shamefully inept (at least on a PR basis) that have been the Howard, Carmello, Lamarcus recruitments amongst others.

I make these moves for Lebron, I would do them for Durant. I would not do them for Harden.

Do you think Cleveland would agree to a sign and trade like the rockets and clippers did for Chris Paul? And what do you think it would look like?

Interesting lineup. They have a lot invested in Thompson too, so I'm definitely wondering how they are going to do lineups.

Is it also possible that Lebron "allows" them to trade him at the trade deadline and waives his no trade clause if he sees the writing on the wall? Maybe...

Cleveland ain't done folks...they got 17 guaranteed Ks on the roster (2 of which are partially guaranteed but still taking up a roster spot). They need to bring it to 15 by the start of the season. Wade and his buyout from the Bulls seems to be in a holding pattern till a roster spot gets cleared up in Cleveland and if they do end up using the Brooklyn 1st in a trade, I really doubt Cleveland trades it for a 1 year rental like Boogie. So their new GM Altman did pretty well for himself and I'm sure he wants to keep the good vibes going, now that he's got everybody's attention.

And I fear Danny ain't done either since the C Bags opened up a roster spot and still have Tatum, Smart, Brown, Rozier and our 2018 1st rounder to trade for possibly Davis or Boogie at the deadline if the Pels still stink. We need to kill that pick by racking up Ws.

The health of IT is critical. I believe the Cavs actually improved with this trade cause IT brings the same amount of scoring punch while Crowder relieves Bron's efforts on the defensive end. IT never played with a setup guy like Bron, so he may actually be more efficient offensively....especially in crunch time. And if they use that Brooklyn pick for a win now player....gulp.

But still, I don't think this keeps Bron in Cleveland. He obviously can't stand Gilbert and rightfully so. I don't think IT sticks there either. I read this morning that Kyrie was thrilled to be headed to Boston. However, you haven't heard IT or Jae say anything about how they feel heading to Cleveland. Pair that with Ainge's comments that IT in particular, was a difficult phone call to have after the trade got consummated. Seems like dude is not happy with Boston's FO and he may also not be happy to be going to an owner like Gilbert and to a city like Cleveland especially since this year may be the only year that they compete, especially if Bron bolts.

And then there is this little beauty from the past that should make things pretty interesting with the Bron-IT dynamic. Kobe is the gift that keeps on giving. Either way, I don't think this necessarily keeps Bron in Cleveland. But it does help them compete for one final shot at the title before Bron is gonZo. (insert Magic wink here).

    BTW...

    But I love you! Haha...
Seriously, I understand the hate towards his narcissism, but instead I rather hate on that comical goon, Gilbert, for taking away CP3 and secretly trying to keep Bron away from us. I rather hate on Britch that is trying to position in taking PG13 away from us. I rather hate on Bird, for being a coward in not dealing with Magic the executive and taking away titles from Magic the player. I rather hate on Durant who completely denied a Lakers meeting and talked ill of Laker greats like Worthy and Shaq and sneak dissed future Lakers like Westbrook (insert Magic wink here). I rather hate on Mitch and Jimmy's incompetence for recording the worst era in Lakers basketball ever while potentially hurting our future with MozDeng. I rather hate on those directly hurting our Lakers!

Ainge is as shrewd as Red. Hopefully this won't amount to anything for the C Bags. But goddamn Danny Ainge should be executive of the year for jedi mind tricking Billy King and the rest of the weak minded fools like Kupchak in the league.
