What a steal for the C Bags, who weren't willing to pay IT a max contract I have to imagine.

But CLE, haha, your defense just got a hell of a lot worse.

I understand the draft picks, because if CLE loses LBJ next summer they needs young talent to rebuild and not huge contracts.

Wow, Irving and Hayward will make a good combination for the ******* if the trade goes through. This trade makes the ******* stronger and Cleveland weaker. I don't know why Cleveland would make a contender in their division stronger by agreeing to do a deal like this.

If it does go through, that's all the more reason why we need to become relevant sooner then later, which is why I have no issues with us signing Lebron if it makes sense for us. We can't let the ******* beat us to the finals, no way. That can't happen.

F***. The C Bags just became the best team in the East if LeBron leaves or gets injured. They won't win the Finals if they get there, but I don't like that they are back on course. If it means us winning before them I will gladly take LeBron here now. For now though, Cavs vs C Bags ECF looks likely and interesting, possibly heated.

yeah BOS/CLE ECF was already guaranteed before these new developments but now it's probably going to be way more interesting

no one will beat GS but the lakers need to rise back up to the top quick because i really would hate to see the C Bags win another title and move two ahead of us

but in all honesty, if you're CLE why the hell would you trade kyrie to your biggest conference rival? i never get that

No better deals? Probably loaded with draft picks they need to rebuild while having to deal with their bad contracts.

Kyrie for Thomas is at best a lateral move and an argurment can be made Thomas is a better player.

I'm not worried about Boston. They ain't beating GSW anytime soon.

Not a bad return for CLE with that unprotected 2018 Nets 1st Round Pick added

Wow, Boston finally gave up that Nets pick. Now we have extra motivation to not suck so the one potential high draft pick the C Bags have next year is NOT high.

boston got out from under what was going to be a huge headache with IT. and with the east being super crappy, that bkn pick is in danger of meh-dom.

and they're the favorites now in the east.

I disagree. Thomas was an MVP candidate last night and carried that team to the ECF.

Kyrie led a team straight to the lottery three years before LeBron came back.

Cherry picking. Thomas led his team to the ECF. Where did Kyrie lead his team? And yes, when bron is scared to shoot, it's Kyrie taking over the 4th quarters.

Then you go back to first 3 years in the league, but fail to mention what Thomas did in that time period.

Are we ignoring ROY, AllStar seasons, Winning shot in Game 7 to win the Finals, career stats..... ???

Thomas had a terrific season last year, but it doesn't mean he's on Kyrie's level. He's just not.
