    If Bron announced that the NBA / Indy were being childish it might get him in my good graces and surely end this charade. I think he has that much power in the league.

    Posted this in the Paul George thread, but it's fitting here as well:

    You know, in all this tampering madness and the rumors surrounding next summer, I'm thoroughly reminded of what a chip these small market franchises have on their shoulder. I get it, cities like Indianapolis, Milwaukee, and Cleveland don't do much for young millionaires compared to LA, New York, or even Miami and that sucks if you've got a superstar you want to keep, but that's just life. It's especially funny given that most of them couldn't even be sustainable without the revenue sharing the Lakers and Knicks provide.

    Seriously, when it comes to Paul George, LeBron, or anybody, being the star of stars in a town full of the biggest ones in the world where the weather is unbelievable is a lot more appealing than being in some middling city in middle America. Heck, I guarantee you every one of these owners have vacation homes in Southern California.

    So what? Rarely do msg boards represent the fanbases accurately. The RealGM Bulls board hated DRose despite him selling way more jersey's than he should have after a certain point.
