Hasn't quite worked out for Charlotte this year the way I thought it would. I thought they'd be a sure fire 6th seed. If they got the Stephenson from Indy, it might've played out that way. If only Utah didn't match the sheet on GH, I think this team could've be a legitimate threat.

    Hayward looks great this season.

Good move for Charlotte. Meh move from Minnesota that just continues in a long line of "meh" moves for them (except maybe the Wiggins deal).

It was more of Minny getting an asset (pick) by doing Mo a favor and moving his expiring deal to a playoff team. Neal's an upcoming FA too and from what I read, they'll probably buy him out.

Minny also got Adreian Payne from Atlanta out of this in a separate deal, they had to clear a roster spot. In return, the Hawks get a future 1st. That leaves ATL with a roster spot for either Ray Ray or Neal (who has ties to Bud from SA).

The Payne deal is interesting to me, but was he worth a 1st? They've got now Bennett, Young, Pekovic, and Dieng already... Young is probably gone soon, but where does Payne fit for a 1st round pick?

I appreciate they did this to help Mo out, but I'm just surprised they didn't get back a better prospect somehow for a solid rotation guy like Mo.
