I didnt think hed do much here, glad hes doing good. Was actually interested durimg his draft yr, hopefully he would stay and not be another ed davis situation
I wouldn't spend anything more than the minimum on him to be a 3rd stringer. I'm not as high on him as others. He did play better than his past stints, but I'm not confident in that translating for 82 games. Just seems like another Kendall Marshall in the making. His 3 point average is going to drop back down to the low 30% and his defense isn't good enough to make up for that.
We can find other 3rd stringers for cheap. If the market demands more than a minimum for Ellis, bye bye.
Luke with a message for LB members in a phone call to Mason / Ireland show yesterday. "Stop with the Tyler Anus jokes. What ....are you guys in grade school?" http://www.lakersnation.com/luke-walton-on-the-key-to-tyler-ennis-success-in-the-nba/2017/04/26/
I like it. Still hope we add another PG though too. A backup rotation of Ennis and Caruso makes me cringe.
Most perplexing post of the day. He's a minimum signing. He is essentially the 4th guard in the rotation at best. He was surprisingly productive last year.
I'm not dreading him, but I'm prepared to be underwhelmed. He's okay, but he's just not that great. In fact this sort of tells me the Lakers are planning on Clarkson handling the ball more.
Thank god we didn't sign Rose. He thought he was gonna start. I think Ennis has the potential to be a solid pro, but I don't see anything spectacular about him. In regards to a rotation, still like Ennis and Clarkson coming off the bench. We've certainly had worse.
"Remember that time Moses was looking for a pretty good spot to set up shop and then just settled for whatever?"
