    i actually had a dream last night in which the lakers had dumped deng along with randle for cap space. then i woke up and deng still existed. it was tough. at least we still had randle.

    Because to take Deng, you need to give something up. Randle has more value around the league than Nance. And to be honest, Nance is a great locker room guy for us. He also defends. We need both of those. What Randle brings (at this point, not necessarily in the future) is easily replaceable.

    A further improved Clarkson and further improved Nance aren't chopped liver. Just saying that would be my "perfect world" if one of those two guys has to be sacrificed. Julius is a unique kind of player in the league. All on him. Has to improve defensively, mentally and hit his shots.

    what randle bring is not easily replacable, especially not from Nance, maybe Kuzma if his sl gm translate but you dont know that yet.

    I do agree with that. I'd like to see how Randle looks with Lonzo. Just like with D'Angelo, I have a feeling Lonzo is going to help boost Randle's value quite a bit. Hopefully Lonzo boosts the value of some of these kids so we can unload them with Deng.
