Two things from last few pages....

    1) Before things got super hot i was thinking... Damn yall over analyzing last two games and Ball in general way too effing much lol. Like damn guess were THAT bored lol..

2)Its much needed to have a way of releasing besides forums. If you have gotten away from some things that you used to do or dont do enough... Perhaps try a lil more so. As far as Trodgers goes, even if i dont agree with him or his demeanor/tone about an opinion he does offer great analytics and input as well.

Apparently a few of yall never been around cases of constant negativity with a few flashes of optimism lol. But that's why i brought up in WMC thread suggesting this site to have an ignore option to place on particular posters. Just cause you dont like some posters style/personality doesn't mean you have to go.

My question is, why? Why the negativity?

Agree with this. He passed up too many lay-ups. Take those shots kid.

Big picture: what's the goal? To make a layup and score or give others an opportunity to show what they have and possibly make the team (or another team) ???

I agree Ball needs to be a bit more aggressive. I know we didn't draft Ball to score 25 points a game, but he has to get us at least 15-18 (not this coming year, but ultimately). You can't have your pg not scoring in this new NBA.

People forget how good Magic was. This is why I I don't just hand Jordan the GOAT label.

He has that level of respect, and perhaps a slight feel of melancholy after recent events. I'm confident he'll be back when ready.

WE love him after all

In what respect. We can be negative if the argument are presented in well-reasoned ways. So, not everybody thinks that Lonzo is going to be a transcendent player? Is that negative? Or we are going to lose 50 games with this roster because we're young and have no shooting? Is that negative?

If someone is constantly negative, and I'm tired of hearing about it, the ignore option is always an option. That's what I have done with @KRL.

I think there's been some negativity here and I support that. Sometimes it's important to embrace that feeling. You and I have had plenty of disagreements on Ball and Russell and Randle and everyone else on the team probably. :D I try to stay out of your way as much as I can when you're feeling down. I'll say my piece and we'll both move on. I don't think anyone here is trying to force anyone else to feel a certain way. Well I'll say the vast, vast majority aren't. As a site we've always encouraged an opposing view as long as it's supported by something. If you feel some kind of way about something, back it up. That's what we've always been about and I hope we continue that. We all thought Russell was polarizing until Ball came along. Yeesh!

Look I know you're not sold on the kid's talents, but I hope you eventually get there like I got there with Russell (even if I didn't like Russell, I appreciate(d) his talent and admit I was way wrong during the draft). Hopefully cooler heads prevail around here. There's plenty of people who don't like Ball and that's fine, but there's people who do and both sides should be able to respectfully voice those opinions.

Well, once I seen Ingram drop 26 points, I started feeling much better!

I know, as I think we all do, we got 1 player out of this draft(s) that is going to be special - That's Brandon. As long as I have 1 that I could build around, recruit other FA's with, eats sleeps and breathes basketball, like Brandon, I'm good.

I think Brandon will be a top 10-player and carry this franchise (hopefully with Lonzo) back to respectability; the difference is I know Brandon will be special.

Lonzo, on the other hand, I'm still not sure about, but I'm becoming more convinced to at least keep an open mind from the posters here and others.

And Yes, I do get quite overly emotional. My apologies. :).

The goal should be for him to improve his game on the offensive end. Passing is great but its not always the right play. He passed up multiple layups for worse shots from his teammates. There are plenty of opportunities for others to show what they can do. He's not a finished product and needs to work on his own game as well.

Those Showtime Lakers were sure fun to watch. Fast break after a made basket. Sometimes the ball never touched the ground. Just amazing.

I wonder how demoralizing it was for opposing teams to grind out a basket at the 24 second clock and 4 seconds later we scored.

We're all fans who post here every day, emotion comes with the territory. :D I absolutely get overly emotional. *cue the video of me weeping watching Kobe's last game to my wife's embarrassment*.

I'm with you on Brandon right now. So far he's showing all the hallmarks of greatness. I want to rewatch the first game again to see if I catch anything that I don't like about Brandon's game besides his tendency to hold on to the ball at times, but I'm betting I don't. I'll say it again but he looked better to me than any player in Summer League and it's not even close. The rookies this year, Jaylen Brown, Kendall Marshall. None of the big ones.

I was thinking of him holding the ball the other day, too - I said to myself as I was driving, "Brandon will hold the ball, and we'll want him to keep it moving, then he'll make an unbelievable play, and we'll be like, 'good job, Brandon.' LOL!! He has that kind of talent.

Interesting...I'm negative? I'm the one that was jumping for joy when we locked in the #2 pick and was "All 4 Ball"
