i keep seeing danny green. when green came into the league, he wasn't a great three point shooter, which is why he bounced around. in terms of size, athleticism, and character, green is the comp for me.
Afflalo is 6'5" 206 lbs. Hart is 6'5" 204 lbs. I can't find it, but I think Afflalo has a better reach though.
Afflalo was at most a tiny bit bigger coming out of UCLA. Hart is not exactly skinny either, they both had NBA ready bodies Not the best picture of Afflalo, but the only one I could find with proof it's his final season at UCLA.
One of the things that popped out to me too was that he does tend to get turned around defending the strong side wing off the ball. I think part of that is scheme though. LFR says his niche is a 3 & D guy who makes winning plays and I think that's accurate, but I'd also say Hart's most translatable skill might be rebounding. He's a fantastic rebounder for a guard. I think his ability to grab the board and his propensity for moving the ball up is going to work hand-in-glove with Ball.
hmmm...must be some sort of optical illusion. on the court, hart looks 6'3" to me. maybe i've always watched him play against big players? anyway, that's good news. he's got good size for a sg then.
I was a little surprised at the listed height too. He plays smaller than he is at times and I think it's because he's not really a leaper. He's a below-the-rim player for the most part.
