Ball floor is Magic + Kidd + Isiah Thomas

If you couldn't figure out I was joking then sorry.

Well as soon as we got the #2 pick for me it was a no brainer. I've been sold on him for a while considering I hate UCLA.

I was just playing along since people kept saying I was Lavar.

Anyways I see "IT" in this kid. I'm jus excited for the Laker future

You know who reminds me of Marion is Justin Jackson. I think they play very similar, and they both have that weird slightly hunched posture.

shawn marion was a freak athlete, much faster and stronger and springier than jackson, who reminds me of a skinnier josh howard. not sure how well that translates, but we'll see.

I meant mainly the kind of shots they take. Jackson takes a lot of running and scooping floaters with a funky look to them the way Marion did, and he hustles similar to him from what I watched of him this season. He gets a lot of "springy" boards and put backs too.

my point is that the marion comp is a non-starter because of the dramatic difference in athleticism, which was a big part of marion's game.

as for his offensive game, it was a little douglas-roberts-ish?

there are two hernangomezes! the one on the first team played c for the knicks. sort of ground-bound and crafty, throws his body around but has some touch. maybe a bit scola-ish in ways?

Highlights- He and Lonzo played pick up yesterday, getting started. I like it. He said he likes the way Lonzo plays.

I'm very, very excited to see this kid in Summer League. I'm not expecting 20 points per game, but I'd love to see him dominate the court in his own way.

Just based off that quote, you could tell his mentality has changed and confidence has grown considerably.

Sounds like he has started sessions or at very least phone calls or texting with Kobe.

I hope to see Ingram looking like JC did a couple years ago in Summer League, just head and shoulders above everyone else talent and skill wise.

Finally got a chance to listen to the interview. Truly love this kid on the Lakers. Whether Kobe contact yet or not, Brandon said he came into the league with that mentality and has gotten back to it. Probably already got some of that advice from Stackhouse adding to his own when he was younger. Kobe will only re-inforce the message. BI did say in another interview late this past season that he felt he had given too much respect to the already established stars in the league at the outset.
