Okay. Let's push for him instead. Clarkson and a pick will do I guess. Then the Pacers will be left with nothing but dust. Clarkson + 28 Sent from my E6533 using Tapatalk
Porzingis might develop into Dirk 2.0 and they're seriously considering trading that kind of rare talent? Phil has lost his kind.
I'd rather we miss out on trading for PG tomorrow if it meant we had to include Randle. If we have to include Randle we can wait for PG to get here. Again these assets you do not move: #2 Ingram Randle Zu Anything else, lets get a deal done.
i'd argue randle and clarkson haven't been winning us games, nor do i expect them to do much to that end soon. george/ingram/ball/room for a max is a much better position than ingram/ball/randle/clarkson and hoping george comes so another FA looks at us. they should. very curious to hear when it all shakes out what kinds of offers have been made. many teams can't even match the offer indy already rejected from the lakers.
I'd put Randle behind Zubac. Have no issue moving him for Paul George. I just don't wanna trade both Randle and JC.
Wonder how much influence Bird still has even if he's not president anymore I'm sure he's very apprehensive about trading a superstar to the Lakers.
Clarkson+27+28 should be enough to acquire him if not then screw indy. they can deal with a disgruntled PG until some delusional team that thinks they can beat CLE or GS overpays for him at the deadline. then if all goes as planned he'll come to LA in the offseason
Apprehensive is a nice way to put he is hating Magic's guts with every fiber of his being right now for stealing his prime all star PG to come play for the Lakers.
He didn't steal him, more like bird and the pacers lost him, for not trying to aquire enough talent to compete in the weak a** East
I'm okay with losing both of them, and 27/28, but why should we? I think that's giving up too much. Wait a year and Indy gets nothing.
indy seems to be dragging this as long as they can hoping some clueless team actually overpays for a guy who will bolt in the offseason looks like no team is that dumb
I'd trade Clarkson and 27+28, if they say no so be it. Could even use 27 and 28 and possibly move up and just get PG next year.
The key is to wait and not overpay. If Indy refuses our offer, maybe we can get Riley to trade for JC for their pick and 27 just to shed salaries and a chance with Kennard.
