If we don't get George ASAP, this offseason is a failure no matter what happens next summer. You don't trade away your best young asset just to clear up room for a chance in free agency.
If LeBron signs with the Lakers next season he'll be playing with Paul George a superstar in his prime. Probably the best player he's played with. Best player the Lakers have had no named Kobe Bryant in the last decade. Probably the best two way player in the league after himself and maybe Kawhi. He'd also be playing with a true point guard in Lonzo Ball for the first time in his career. Ball will immediately make his teammates better and unlike Russell is a true point guard. Let's not forget that Brandon Ingram kid. Within a couple of years he's probably an All Star and one of the top two players in the league and playing with LeBron, Ball, and of course George will only quicken his development. Yeah I'm ready for all that.
