PG doesn't have to "stand in the corner," as LeBron can become more of an inside/out creator for Kyrie and PG. And PG can do the dirty work on D. If he's not willing to do that for a legit shot at a ring, why would we want him?

Jazz, Blazers, Grizzlies & Clippers. I don't see how these teams are significantly better than us if PG comes to LA. Not saying PG alone would turn this franchise around in a snap. I'm saying as I've been saying a lot of times before, the 'talent' and yes I call them talent, is yet to be tapped. All they need is one star catalyst to break the potential gate wide open.

Good players tend to play better around great ones and PG is just a spitting distance away from the great ones like Lebron, KD and co. He may not get there ever but his kind of talent is good enough to make the players around him play and be better especially with the likes of what we have that has enormous potential.

But yes, first things first. We should bring his *** to LA first.

The only reason you would even entertain the thought even as a desperate franchise is because of the possibility of getting a star in George. BUT George has made it clear, don't trade major assets for him so why would we?

Regardless, this PG thing is going to get done a lot sooner than later. PG is already gone, why do you go into training camp with a guy that's not going to be there.

Nah I think it has to get done now or before training workouts. If he stays adamant with the position then he probably gets boo's at times during the season. Bad atmosphere in locker room etc.

F*** is Jerry jumping in already with his new battle effort against the Lakers? I sure hope Magic, Rob, Luke, (Kobe) >>>>> Jerry West in recruiting.

If George goes to the Clippers because of Jerry West, I dont know what my thoughts would be about Magic and Jeanie not bringing him in. It would be very bad though.

i don't see how PG can go to the clippers

what could they possibly give up to acquire him that wouldn't look like an absolute joke proposal?

Yeah but would Ginger want to go play in cold Indy on a team that's got no chance of winning either for the the length of his big multiple years contract?

This right here ladies and gentleman is why I hate the media. This will be the last time I go into detail on it because this next few days are going to be exciting and fun to observe:

Listen to that idiot Russillo. Or the other schmuck who's pointing at the tv. They are talking like they are in the Laker org and they know exactly whats going on. Russillo still bringing up the selfie video. It's been 2 years, still talking about it like Magic and Rob are thinking about something like that. Just utter worthlessness to the highest degree and these buffoons get paid for this.

I think being the third wheel on the Lebron wagon is a bit tough for guys. We saw it with Bosh and now Love. You get the ring but you're also the scapegoat anytime something goes wrong.

Perhaps. If PG comes to Lakers and factually, internally we find out they are super high on Lonzo .... perhaps these are 2 big NEW reasons for as therealdeal has said .... that will help persuade Ryan West not to just bolt to the Clippers. He's Jerry freaking West's son and has lived around competitors, Magic, Kobe and others all his life. Now that the hard times are looking up and that damn team is starting to look really exciting with our personnel, does he really want to give that up. And go be under Jerry's wing / shadow? Jeanie make him happy with the pay and the title and job description. Whatever it takes. He's been a Laker his entire life. Pops hasn't. Does Ryan want to be a f****** Clipper now?
