I still do Clarkson, Randle and 28. If we get George, he's a starter and Ingram, Ball and Russell project to be starters. I think Ingram can play 4 in this league eventually or part of a position-less front court with George. Randle will be the odd man out eventually if we add George. If it gets George here this summer, I'd do it simply because he's due an extension soon and we have to make a decision.
Indy has a year to trade PG. I doubt they take a low ball offer. They will take the best offer. Only guy who can ruffle feathers is PG by telling the other team he will not sign an extension.
Randle has same agent as Pg, all this leak is probably their agent doing. Don't think the agent would be very happy if we traded one of his clients out of la
Cavs- Paul George Portland- Kevin Love, future picks Indiana- Meyers Leonard, Mo Harkless, picks Interestingly Portland has a massive payroll. I'd sort of forgotten that. I think Portland ultimately says no giving up too much for Kevin Love.
It's amazing to me how much people want him anywhere but the Lakers. Go to r/NBA and its a lot of "How to get PG to Portland" by: Not-Portland fan. "How to get PG to Boston" by: Not-Boston fan. On and on. Not fans asking how PG can be on their team, just dying to find any shred of evidence that he could be anything but a Laker next season.
If he feels bad he probably should have done more than put up 6 points in the closeout game of the Finals. I'd be looking to trade him to catch up to the Warriors if I were the Cavs too. Paul George>>>Kevin Love. Even though the Cavs swept the Pacers in round one it wasn't because of George, he played at or close to LeBron's level that series except for game 4 (28 ppg, 8.8 boards, 7.5 assists).
it's pretty obvious by now that lebron hates playing with love he's probably the one looking to have him included in a deal for PG
Lakers trade Gene Hackman to Indy for Hoosiers part 2 in exchange for PG. Mozgov included in deal as he will star as the lead character in the movie. European transplant who moves to Hickory and leads the team past a bunch of AAU clowns featuring Lavar Ball in a non speaking role.
I think the other teams, especially the Cavs, are just the media really pushing their own ideas out there. George to the Lakers has been discussed and rumored for a long time. Now they come right out and say he is leaving and prefers the Lakers, a move that instantly makes any team other than us have even more reservations about trying to acquire him. I think George is ours to lose. The Pacers have to make it seem like they are really working the phones, but I think George's team is going to guide him right to us. If we end up adding George and Ball (even though he'll struggle as a rookie), I also think we have a legit shot at the 8th seed this year.
