Why even give the 28 or a future 1st. Pacers should thank god for JC and getting a reasonably locked in contract player!
I'd give up JC without hesitating. If Lakers draft Ball and you have DAR as the starting SG. Both will play 30-35 mpg. PG13 is also a primary ball handler and get his 20 shots. You just don't need JC as a luxury. Much rather bring back decent backups like Ennis and Nwaba. Plus with #28 Lakers may get a solid 2/3 backup in OG or Semi.
No because that's not realistic but 2 firsts and a starter is. I don't want to sound like a broken record but why do people think Pacers will just take Moz or Deng. Trying to be realistic here with offers.
LoL if you and I know each other I would happily bet you $100 Pacers would get NOTHING close to that if they trade PG!
That package would be great too. Honestly, I'd prefer it because I actually love Randle where he's a former Wildcat. I just figured he may have more value and that's why I included him. His name was specifically mentioned in the Woj article too, which makes me wonder if Indy doesn't have their eyes set on him. Either way...I just hope we get a deal done and land George, albeit without giving up too much.
They probably won't but they aren't getting our trash and leftovers either. I see too many people, not just on here, saying oh, let's offer them Deng and Brewer. Indy management would get crucified if they take that. Keep in mind their GM was just hired weeks ago, is that how he wants to start his career? Trading away your best player for waterboys and locker room guys?
Because they're getting a solid 2nd rounder in clarkson, a building block with a pick, and salary needs to match so you gotta add in mozgov or deng
Not to derail, but as an aside while we wait for more info: anybody else watching KD engage with every troll on Twitter right now? Classic.
I see your point but at the same time what do you expect unless i was cavs (klove/tristan=pg) or clippers (blake for pg) i wouldnt offer anything of significance. If he really is saying he wants to join us id be hesitant if i was any other team... They arent going to get a whole cake in return for their pie theyll be lucky for a slice at that
PG will be making ~$19 mil next season, JC makes ~$12. They have the cap space to absorb the difference. Plus Moz and Deng make ~$15-17 mil, adding them without Monta or Big Al would not be matching salaries.
**** Cleveland. I don't see them departing with Irving and I really don't see Indiana settling with Love. I'd rather lose George as a FA.
