Well last time they tried this they brought in Thaddeus Young and Al Jefferson.

Also if you are the Lakers, you read inbetween the lines and DON'T trade for him.

It appears it'll be another year before my account name gets validated.

    Or maybe not.

I don't think PG will be a Laker. Just a gut feeling, but yeah, not happening.

Which, PG a Laker or Indy making the team competitive enough for him to stay?

Not saying he will be a Laker, but that interview shouldn't change anyone's opinion on the George situation.

If anything it strengthens the Lakers' position. He said "I'm committed for this year" and the Lakers already weren't trading for him.

    I don't see it as a negative.

PG a "non Laker" is my stance, since the second we were hit with the first rumors. If it happens though, i'll be more than happy. He's the guy i really want...

    Haha, exactly.

This is perfect for us because no other team can get into a trading war and possibly beat us to him if PG13 says he wants to finish his contract with IND.

I do think its going to be important for us to definitely be better this year and try to fight for a playoffs spot. Not yet predicting we will but we need to be our best foot forward for PG13. These game against the Pacers this next year need to be our playoff games. We have to be the Pacers and show PG that we're better for him.

If Indy flops this free agency period and has a bad start to the season, the trade deadline becomes interesting. Do they trade him to get something before he ends up leaving?

Let me get this straight, this interview basically means Pacers is willing to enjoy one season of relevance and in the process risking the 99% possibility of losing PG next summer with NOTHING in return? I'm sorry but I don't buy it. Not for a second.

Those tweets and interview were carefully worded statements as well. Clear yet vague and ominous on Pacers' side. Of course a lot may happen from this point forward. Pacers may reach the ECF at best and if that's good enough for PG, then good for them.
