I think Clarkson will still improve some... he needs to go to the East though. ANYONE is better in the east, but someone like Clarkson who has more size can shine even more so there. Also, Clark is what 3 years out of college?

I just wish there was a stud PF to package Clark with Randle(who we'd have to pay soon anyways).

clarkson is worth his contract, so any trade better bring back value. i don't think he's going to be a star, but i do think he still has a little room to grow, and any team would take him as a sixth man scorer at his salary, imo.

so...the kings can stuff afflalo WAY up their a**.

they can have deng for evans and afflalo.

Jeezus you're just dying to trade guys off. Julius, Clarkson, Zubac, 28 all for Butler in the other thread. Deng thrown in I guess to make it look better.

yes. mobile center is a need, 28 is unlikely to yield much, and black (though i like him) is totally replaceable with low-cost vets.

thus, it's clarkson for wcs. i say yes, particularly considering the lakers will likely draft a guard.

Clark/28th/black for Willy Hermangomez....dont fall for the "thrill" hype, dude is a poor reb for a C with very lil other offenaive skill and isnt much of a defensive anchor either. Hermangomez in his short stint avg 7/7 on that disfunction knick team and has shown ability to shoot from deep, albiet at a low % for now, dude is a better ver of nance, just not as athletic but much more skilled everywhere else

How about we just keep our pick and draft a center?

Yeah, I'm trying to setup shop to prepare for Paul George and another guard if we keep the #2.

And he's long, young and athletic. Highly doubt SAC moves him though they have Koufos... Clarkson and Hield would actually be a cool tandem. You figure why can't he and Russell be the same but with Ingram on the team and George hopefully eventually coming, that would force Russell out of the equation.

We need Porzingis... we need Phil to talk Dolan into making a deal he can't refuse that's seen as a win for both sides. I can't think of any other big men out there that are worth a whole lot and possibly able to acquire.

I'd rather have the straw that stirs the drink hopefully in Ball to make all our talent here and coming allegedly per Magic .... better. But who are the centers giving you stffies coming out that you would forego that for especially when we have such a great, young center prospect already here that everyone seems to like as a person as well? I need to see some youtube clips. Certainly none are rated that high at 2 as Embiid or KAT were ..... by any of the draft gurus.

What's the 2nd half of the reasoning there. For what, since he won't bring a lot on his own and instant offense off the bench in Lou and Nick already gone?

    I'd shop everyone.

The Lakers are probably finding it near impossible to shed Deng and/or Mozgov so they're looking at other options. Not to mention Clarkson should get a decent return. He's young, has room to grow, and is already perfectly suited for the 6th man scoring role on a good team. I wouldn't rush to trade Clarkson, but I'm fielding offers for sure.

Oh and one of those articles looked like Sam Amico is writing again. Don't trust that guy.

When it's all said and done, I agree. Unless there's an offer we can't refuse and we're not getting low balled on our young guys.
