He listened to Magic. The only other player I guarantee will show up to camp skinny is Ingram. Bet my life on it.

I'm still in the camp that thinks Randle will turn into a really really good player, and I do not want to trade him. I think we'd be very sorry if we did.

If he's working so hard, why is he running and shooting in slow motion?

    1. Work ethic and professionalism
    2. Talent, athleticism and skill
    3. Bball IQ

    Randle has 1 & 2.
You need all 3 to be elite.
But you can be a very, VERY good player with 2/3.

I agree but he also needs a jumpshot to be very good. Not sure points 1. and 2. necessarily lead to that. If you are, i hope you are correct, of course!

Good to see him working hard. I dig Randle. I'd still be willing to move him if it were for the right piece(s). But he's got a lot of upside.

The before picture looks pathetic compared to pictures of the past I think. Like he woke up from a coma with no physical activity for a couple months.

It's not an NBA body for sure. I'm not sure getting in shape to do your job gets you props. However, being in World Class shape to redefine your job will. I'm hoping for the latter.

Came to mock with this gif (mainly because I like it)

But then realized you're right and how stupid of them to try that trick. He's wearing the same necklace both shots and wasn't sweaty in first pic.

It's actually true. I know (when I was younger at least) that if I hit the gym hard, I looked like Brad Pitt in Fight Club (minus the tan...and the face...maybe add in some hair...a lot of hair). Then an hour later, my body deflated back down to it's normal size.

yeah, the lighting, the pose, the use of moisture, the diet infomercials have been on this technology for years!

but whatever, we know he's not boris diaw-ing it, so we should be happy.

I feel the same. I don't know how much upside he has, but I feel well have a pretty decent idea around the trade deadline.

I think that's when we decide after values of our young guys should hopefully be looking good...and other teams that envisioned their seasons going better choose to re-evaluate their personnel and we possibly strike a trade or stay put cause things are going hella well for us.

Also, Randle is gonna be playing for a new contract extremely soon... with a new baby on his side, he has a lot to prove and take his game to the next level.

Guess I'm the only here that is realistic. Don't ever see JR averaging more than 16/10

Qualifying offer, so we're in the drivers seat.

He's probably a 20/10+ guy if he played in East. Deng,Randle,Clark,Zu,#28 and future second for Butler? I think that's the best Chicago would, receive with us trying to keep #2.

Looks to me like he wants to be a Laker. I couldn't give up on him especially with his first year under Magic. I think Magic can have a very positive influence on him, and may be able to help him figure out how to use his multiple skills. He may break out this year.
