For Chicago I think that's a fair trade. Jackson/Tatum so they're set at 1-3. Clarkson and Tarik would instantly be better in the East. Rondo/Payne Wade/Clarkson Jackson or Tatum/Valentine Portis/Mirotic Lopez/Black Rondo and Wade have one more year until Payne and Clarkson are ready to start. Can always re-trade or have a third team involved IF Chi doesn't want Clarkson and Black
I wouldn't do that butler trade unless deng or moz goes into the pkg...otherwise most of our cap is gone for 18, making more difficult to free up money for george n saw in another post saw that cap is going to 130+, i dont think so, it was projected to go to 112 or something but it only went to 102 for 17-18
I wouldn't. What the heck happened to Magic seeing a shorter version of himself being the perfect or at least the best player coming out of college since he himself to the Lakers to run the kind of offense that He and Luke want to run. Showtime part deux.
It's highly unlikely Ball is Magic 2.0 out of the draft. Even if he's Jason Kidd, it'll take years to achieve his full potential. If we could get Butler right now, who is under contract for three years, it'd be very difficult to pass on that opportunity. Especially with George possibly on the way next year. That trade would also still leave us with some good young options in hand as well.
Nah. Lavar and KRL have won me over. I want to see the team play like that. Two years he'll be ready. Let the fun begin. Make all our other guys better with those passes right to their sweet spots and LONG chest and overhand lasers running the break.
Nah. I'll take the All-Star. I am one of Ball's fans on this site, but I'll take a sure thing over potential.
We're giving them two very good building blocks... id want them to take dengs contract along with it.... also salries would match with him included
With Clark,Tarik and no #2 which the salary would be a mill or two less than 10 mill? That's almost a 30 mill swing. I think you can make it work even without trading Deng or Moz..at worst possibly a stretch if they're not traded. I think then we can get in the luxury tax if we wanna re-sign Randle. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong or off on something.
They can probably take Deng who could rejuvenate his career back there some and play a role off the bench, he knows the east and would be able to play the small ball 4 easier there. We'd have to probably take back someone so at worst, were shaving further salary with enough room to sign George.
http://amicohoops.net/nba-rumors-jordan-clarkson-los-angeles-lakers-nba-trades/ Jordan to the Pacers for Monta, Lance Stephenson or Thaddeus Young? Jordan to the Kings for Arron Afflalo or Tyreke Evans?
I'll pass on both of those and not necessarily because I think JC is worth more, more because I don't want any of those players.
The downside of being a professional basketball player is getting to hear about this stuff in the news
Faster doesn't necessarily mean harder. Also, shame harder also doesn't mean better than. He'd be the first guy I'd shop too, his ceiling has been reached, he's 25, Russ is 21.
Effort means more than talent sometimes, effort is also ingrained, dlo will keep at his too cool for school attitude based on how talented he thinks he is
