    Yeah. I think that deal would be too good for us to pass up so I doubt it as well. I've been in Russell's corner from the beginning but that's a fair deal if it's really on the table. But I am curious to what's actually being offered as multiple outlets including SI keep saying teams are making offers for Russell.

    That's not a fair deal. That's a Laker whooping of a deal. Holy goodness... Russell/28/Deng for Butler would be one of the better trades we've made maybe ever. I like Russell, but that gives us an established star AND gets rid of an albatross... if that deal is out there then goodness I hope Rob is already finalizing the paperwork.

    I saw this rumor yesterday but decided not to post because it came from some guys' twitter who had a sports podcast but they were celebrating 600 viewers. Probably not reliable.

    Yeah, that trade sounds way too good to be true. Russell for Butler, albatross Deng and the 28? Sign me up immediately. I don't think that's happening. If it does I'll be ecstatic.

    Lakerman ..... LMAO!!! That was my first thought too. I went looking for the Sir Mix-A-Lot music video. LOL. But figured nah maybe overdone humor reach. Swear to gawd though that song to this day plays at Bat Mitzvahs everywhere for nice little Jewish girls and their friends on the dance floor. Twerking and all.     I'm late to this, but there's no way the Bulls offered us that trade, because if they did, it would have happened immediately. Butler for just Russell and the 28th AND they take Deng? Magic packs Russell's bags and drives him to the airport, and takes care of his housing situation for him.

    A lot of you need to stop trying to dump a mistake while dumping a potential star. It's a bad habit that's started here. Jimmy Butler does not make this team a title contender with his arrival. By the time the team had a chance at actually WINNING the title, Butler might be out of his prime.

    Lakers are better off waiting a year to get Paul George for nothing. It will also give the Lakers year to show George or whomever in the 2018 class that the Lakers have the pieces to start competing in the playoffs.
