although i agree with what pop said, i agree with mash: you weren't on a soapbox when bruce bowen made a career out of undercutting folks. and the league instituted the rule AFTER you won multiple titles with that guy as your stopper. shut up, dude. i'm mad about kawhi being out because i really like leonard and think the series now isn't worth watching. but you're not the right guy to complain about this particular tactic. edit: almost got it, mike: they're both dirty plays. but you're right in that the outcome doesn't dictate the call. just get rid of this crap. you'd get punched in the face for this stuff on a playground.
Saw this at another place: https://web.archive.org/web/2008061...MYSA111806.05C.BKNspurs.notebook.38e2352.html
Watching in slow motion on TV a couple of times a little while ago on sports news it really looked like he took unnecessary additional steps walking under him. Moved an additional foot or more further than his momentum took him. Getting into LeBron territory here. GS has their freaking all star lineup, Parker is out and still the dirty play. How much help do you need? Well they were getting their a**** kicked early in the game so that's why?
There are more casual fans than hardcore fans and casual fans will want/enjoy Cavs vs Warriors more and that will make them more money. I was actually rooting for a Utah vs Bucks finals.
People have been praising Wall, and rightfully so after that game winning shot but are totally ignoring Bradley Beal's heroics. Plus he's young so sky is the limit for that kid.
The Wiz defensive rotations are trash. Is Wall even in the game? Gortat and MM are going to be skewered when they lost this game.
Just seeing Boston winning anything makes me angry. Seeing them lose is just as delightful as seeing us win a a title over them. I don't care about the Eastern Conference finals.
And it's definitely intentional. From organized to pickup, I've had to have played 10,000 or more basketball games. I can't recall once stepping under a player like that.
It is easier seeing that for the most part, they are likable players? It was hard for to root against SA with Duncan, Barry, Horry, Finley,Willis etc
I like very few players on that team. Thomas... maybe Crowder? I loathe Smart and Olynyk. If I were playing them they'd each get multiple elbows to the face.
- Wizards starting 5 can defend very well at times but it doesn't seem focus on lots of posssessions as well . - Wash already has no bench and Oubre didn't play in this game ???????? - It was a good series which is a lot to ask for in these playoffs
He's a Longhorn. As far as the Wiz, tonight, they like the Lakers Game 4 in 2011 vs Mavs (too soon ?), especially the bigs.
Whatever Morris that was, was abused and embarrassed by Olynyk. He's in there talking trash and then getting lit up like a Christmas tree with his lazy rotations and awful one-on-one defense. He should be ashamed of himself and I hope the basketball world gives him a ton of grief for that. Don't talk unless you can back it up and tonight he took it all on the chin.
Did you see the minutes that Wizard starters played? Do they really basically have NO bench? They were even at 72-72, and then fatigue most likely started to set in.
I'm conflicted. My two most despised teams are in the ECF. I don't want to see LeBron in the Finals again. So, I'm ok with the C Bags squeeking into the Finals and then losing 4-0 to the Warriors.
