Good job Lakers FO ... If it wasn't for Smart and sometimes Crowder , this team would be hard to hate . IT is incredible and Hordord has stepped his game up
Soooo glad we didn't sign Thomas because he was a 2nd tier guy at best and the Lakers don't deal in mediocrity. :MitchReally:
Well, I don't think anyone could have predicted the type of season IT would have... MVP-candidate level. Basically, you had to have predicted he'd become Iverson or Thomas, which are probably the only two exceptions to the "no midget HoFs/All-Stars" rule. P.S. Mugsy was an All-Star once, was he not?
not signing thomas was ridiculous; i said so at the time. that said, he's going to get himself an oversized payday soon, and whoever is paying will probably end up pretty sorry.
I disagree. Whoever ends up paying him will be happy getting one of the best players in the league who has also plays with as much heart and passion and intensity as anyone in the league.
No. His best season was 94. He got 11, 4 and 11. Stats don't tell the full story but he was never going to make it with those numbers
Those Charlotte teams (not at the same time) sure had some guys.... LJ, Muggsy, Rice, Mourning, Curry Senior, Vlade, Parish (the undead version), Late Anthony Mason. And, of course, the crown jewel of LAL fans desires -- Kendall Gill.
Still haunts me to this day. That pump fake and Kwame jumping by him. We were just one rebound away from moving on and playing the Clips....
A horrifying thought just popped in my head. What if those guys make it to the finals? They're playing great basketball right now and are well coached. The thought gives me nightmares.
