    I'm sorry, "brutalized???" You mean were excited about him, the and team and the city welcomed him with open arm the team, fans, and organization? When he started playing like crap, we were no more critical then y'all, and the team, Carlisle, and Cuban gave him chance after chance after chance when Cuban mercifully let him. So stow that " brutalized" s***. He was, and is, an addict. His dad, an active addict trying to come back in his life and he had to play out all the drama for millions to see, right after Fashion Police with Joan Rivers. He was upset that he had to leave him home. Khloe, hated being in Dallas, despite her overt appearances on the megatron. The fans being upset about his objectively abysmal still cannot shift the blame towards Mavs fans.

    To put part of what I said in context, his first season as a Laker;
    473, 308 ,695 10.2 rpg 3.7 apg 0.7 spg 1.0 bpg 15.2 ppg. The fans, papers and video media tore him apart.

    His season with us;
    .352, 252, 592 4.2 rpg 1.7 apg 0.4 spg 0.4 bpg 6.6 ppg. And we probably treated him not much than you.

    Why did you write all that? C'mon now ..... I put Shaq's fat face winking right at you to say it's a "joke". Who would use the word "brutalize"? And yeah we all saw what happened. Lamar was never the same again after he left here. It really sucked for Dallas. I could see you thinking Shaq was winking because I was coming back at you with a gotcha or something. Context not clear on the post. Sorry.

    And of course despite tons of days off, Cavs easily beat the Raptors.

    Rockets have jumped all over the Spurs. They're running them out of their own gym. Harden has been brilliant so far and once again nobody is helping Kawhi out for the Spurs.

    Rockets open up a 22 point lead. Aldridge has been terrible on both ends. Rockets really picking on him on the defensive end. Their bench has opened this game up.

    Wow talk about a surprise. How can that even be possible for Houston after losing all the championship experience and performance that Dwight Howard brought all these years?

    Wow Aldridge is a disaster right now. Dude is just folding under the bright lights. Thank God he didn't sign with the Lakers a few years back.

    Spurs getting rocked big time. Kawhi has no help out there, #2 in LMA has been awful. I wouldn't be surprised if Pop sits him to start the second half to see if something else works.

    Time to go small. That big lineup just don't work man. Spurs are way too slow with Aldridge, Lee, Gasol, etc.

    I'd see Lee has been much, much worse than Aldridge but Aldridge has been utterly disappointing too.

    Aldridge has done nothing offensively which is where he was supposed to make his money. Pretty embarrassing for Pop, but honestly I saw this coming. I think the Spurs are foolsgold.

    All their bigs are either old and slow or just not great.

    Spurs just don't have the athleticism to compete.

    That killed them against OKC last year and it looks to doom them this year.

    Too old. Too slow.

    If I'm Pop I'd bench Aldridge's sorry a** and start Simmons and Dedmon. Move Kawhi to the 4. Have more footspeed and athleticism. Have a better chance at matching up.

    i'm not watching the game (i try never to watch houston play "basketball"), but i think folks need to remember that it only counts as one win. these same old and slow spurs solved houston during the regular season.

    what surprised me for the few minutes i watched was that they allowed houston to dictate pace and style of play. you can't beat them at their own game. pop knows that, but i wonder--with duncan gone and ginobili essentially walking dead--whether the spurs players have the discipline anymore. we'll see as the series unfolds. if they keep trying to play houston's game with their personnel, they won't win.

    Man. D'Antoni is such a fantastic coach. I wonder if we should have hired him instead of Walton?

    Dedmon, Kawhi, Simmons, Green and Mills might be their best chance out there.

    No. We saw what happened to him when he didn't have anything to work with. Why would it have been any different this year?
