You know, if we got the first, we could probably do young, moz, and 1st overall. They'd need a sf. Contract expires sooner than Clarkson as well.
I'm almost certain that Nick Young is going to opt out of his player option and become a UFA, so he's not going to be a contract we can trade.
didn't they change the S&T rules? player has to be on the roster until December 15 or something? not entirely sure.
^ That might be, something in the back my head says something like that changed. Would explain why there has been next to no S&Ts
If it's JC, Randle and the top 3 pick, I'll pack their bags for Paul George. Draft isn't super impressive at the top and I think Clarkson is getting close to his peak...and he's a sixth man who can't play defense. Randle may have a little bit of room for growth, but in the end he's an undersized 4 who can't play defense and disappears completely from games roughly 40% (total arbitrary number I just made up with no statistical proof) of the time. Where I start to get worried is if w are giving up Ingram and Russell. Heck, I'd even give up Zu if we packaged Deng or Moz with him. Zu, Deng and the top 3 pick...I'd do that too.
Im other way, you cant trade 2 way wings, to many traits lacking from russell, his d will never match ingram potential
Guys... PG13 is a great player, but he's no Shaq. Let's not forget Shaq was traded for Lamar, Caron, Grant, and a future 1st rd pick. Recent trades for Cousins and Love also suggests that George's worth is: Top 3 pick Clarkson Mozgov or Deng Hou pick or future 1st rd pick That is fair value. Anything more would be overpaying.
I wish the CBA still allowed a team to pay half of the traded player's salary then we can dispatch these two useless contracts easily. Thanks Mitch, you really did it.
