Him getting injured seems like an annual thing, and the thought of me warming up to Griffin just went out the door after i heard the news lol.

Griffin has talent but not that "take charge" mentality George has. Agree that he has been too injury prone of late for consideration.

I'd do it, but not sure Chicago is ready to unload Butler especially if they go on a run here in the playoffs.

Lost last night so let's hope they flame out. Only problem is that means we'd have to root for Boston which I won't do under any circumstances. Wizards should take care of either though.

That trade works out well for us. We keep our two most promising young guys and pair them with two top 15 players in this league who are bonafide All Stars. Still keep Clarkson, Randle, and Nance so there would still be some semblance of depth on the team.

I'd hate saying goodbye to D'Angelo, but if I had to trade one of the three of he, Ingram, and Zubac I'd say bye to D'Angelo. His ceiling is still high IMO, but I don't think it's as high as Ingram and you can't teach 7 feet with the skill Zubac is. He could be another Marc Gasol.

Griffin had developed something of an Iron Man attitude early in his career, as he missed only four games from 10/11 to 13/14, but that was after missing 82 games in his first season. His AVERAGE games missed by season go:

    82
    41
    27
    21
    17
    17
    21
    21

And this doesn't include playoff games missed. So, for most of his career, he has been available for only about 3/4 of the season. Tough to pay a guy $20M+ when he'll miss a lot of time. We know. We had Kobe.

That's not TOTAL games missed. It's average games missed. SO, if he missed 82 games in year 1 and 2 in year 2, his average games missed were:

    82 through year 1
    42 through year 2

    Makes sense?

With you in this; dude just cannot stay healthy.

I think our focus should be landing at least 1 All-Star in his prime this offseason.

If we have to give up some youth, so be it. I will elaborate later in this as to why...

I can't stand Biff, so I never wanted him and continue to never want him. I truly hope we don't go anywhere near that injury prone knucklehead.

No Biff please, but bring me PG if he can play SG. Ingram should stay he may end up being our best player.

That was a bad idea you were trying to sell us LVD .... you should beg for our forgiveness. It was you wasn't it that started the Ginger train?

If not no apologies. You jumped on real early. Clipper stink on him or not.

    :Nope:

I don't know if I started it; but I did jump on the train.

    Forgive me, LB.

Julius and Clarkson would be gone for George.

    It's basically....
Julius + Clarkson + Houston Pick = Paul George
    Russell + Top3 + fillers = Jimmy Butler

We'd lose the bulk of our young core, but keep the most promising two in Ingram and Zubac.

Warms my heart to see everyone that wanted Blake Griffin here jumping off that flaming train before it flies off the tracks and explodes into a mass of mangled wreckage.

What ..... I suppose you're one of those skeptics that wouldn't get with the program if your city told you they had this state of the art new system for turning all the neighbors' sewer water into your drinking water?
