Utah is a good team , its improvment has always been slowed down by having some injury prone players , Gobert isn't one of them though .
There was nothing to lament about . Their 2 best players are going to get hurt in the playoffs more often than not. It's not about luck
Someone talking s*** about the Clippers in the playoffs? Seriously? Is that a real opinion? How stupid do they have to be?
I liked Snyder as a coach when he was with us. I wished for him to take over after D'Antoni left thinking Walton would be elsewhere. Start fresh... Clippers-Jazz...just one game. Gobert being out will impact the series and diminish Utah's chances somewhat.
Pretty entertaining first day of playoff basketball. -Cavs should not have won that game, their defense has been terrible and its continued, but an 10-0 run to end the game helped. Paul George really should have gotten the last shot at the end there. -Bucks and Raptors was a surprising game, wasn't expecting Giannis to be that good. Adjustments will come but Raptors need Lowry and Derozan to perform better (sounds familiar doesn't it). -The Spurs vs Grizzlies game started off really entertaining but the Spurs depth really stepped forward in the second half. Marc can and will get his but he needs help out there. -Jazz vs Clippers was the best game. Jazz lost Gobert early and the vets Diaw and JJ stepped up but they will feel his injury the rest of the series. CP3 needs to be good the entire game and not just the second half.
John Wall has really elevated his game to the point where he's a legit superstar and franchise player in this league. It took him 7 years to reach this point though so maybe we should give Russell more than a couple of years before we give up on him.
Portland got the Warriors shook. Maybe that'll knock their arrogance down a peg. I like how competitive the West is outside of the Spurs/Grizzlies series.
