    that rebounding differential tho....

also, to think that ingram was billed as a shooter and the greek freak's shooting numbers look better across the board...

A whole summer working with Kobe would be ideal. We saw how much it helped Kawhi. Kobe teaching him post moves with Ingrams length and ability to shoot over people.....

I loved this. You could see this happening when watching him, he went from timid, to attacking against anyone.

That last game against Kawhi was eye opening for me. He was able to score on Kawhi a few times in one-on-one situations and there's not many kids who can say that. The kid has the goods. The only thing that I thought separated him from being a future superstar was his general timidness about scoring. He's so much more apt to "make the right play" that I figured he'd never be a #1 scorer, but I'm starting to reconsider that position.

Looking at the final product of his rookie season, the progression is there. He lacked aggressiveness at first and I called him out on it repeatedly. He improved in that area over the final 2 months by leaps and bounds. He started taking what the defense gave him and finding open spots in the defense to take his shot and started hitting them. Biggest surprise was his defense.

Overall, I was impressed by how little he made dumb mistakes. Once a game? If that. he was steady on defense. Made the right plays.

I'd give his rookie season a B- with him trending up. I'm excited for his future and this is coming from me, the one who called him "Wesley" Ingram for a good portion of the year.

Really hope he works out with Kobe and models his game after K. Leonard.

BI misses on all rookie teams lol according to this bozo. I don't know half of the list and Embiid with his 33 games is laughable.www.nba.com/rookie-ladder

Name presented incorrectly. That's BOZO. With regard to leaving BI out of the conversation. Going to look foolish next year.

They can have their silly little rookie ladder and rookie lists. I only have a couple questions. If any of those teams called up and offered any of those players in exchange for Ingram, would the Lakers say yes? If the Lakers offered Ingram in exchange for each of those players (save maybe Embiid because the Sixers probably still cling to hope that he'll be healthy) would those teams say yes? I think the answers to those questions are fairly obvious. Ingram was selected right where he should have been, most likely we got the 2nd best player in the draft.

    Brogdon probably wins the ROY.

I'd love to see what Milwaukee would do if we offered Ingram for Brogdon.

Just meant he's the young talented player on the team aspiring to learn from the best one on one. Who picked MJ and Hakeem's games to most pull from. Would not expect DAR or Randle to do the same. Or many young players. Long, hard journey toward that basketball PHD.

I think it was Chris Mannix this morning on ESPNLA710 that brought up a trade scenario where we lose our first round pick. It was the Houston pick, Ingram and either Deng or Mozgov for Paul George. I disagree with it but Keyshawn and Jorge said yes immediately.

That's not gonna make us a champion. Horrible trade for LA.

Honestly that's a close one to me. I've almost got Ingram on my no-trade list. He'd be the absolute last kid I'd give up. I'd much rather give up a combination of the other kids than give up Ingram, but if we're also unloading Deng's contract... That could change things. I'd listen.
