    Makes a TON of sense to move the Hawks. Atlanta is an absolutely awful NBA town. Heck, they're a pretty bad all-around sports town. They're the worst for basketball though. They've got the best team in the East right now, but they've still got horrible ticket sales.

    Would be sad to see a team with a solid history have to leave, but it makes more sense.

    ^^^^ What are the reasons behind these poor tickets sales ?

    I always wondered why there always seems to have such a low interest for this decent team

    People in Atlanta don't go to the games. Even when the Hawks were in the playoffs, their stadium would be only half full.

    Won't happen...hawks owners will make it a closing condition to keep team in Atlanta. Plus, Falcons owner would step in and make a bid if someone came in and tried to move the Hawks. Hawks will stay in Atlanta.
