Man Cleveland is dumb. The sheer "luck" of that franchise the last 4-5 years has been insane. Have fun with JR Smith in a locker room that's already on edge.

Maybe Lebron approved the trade as an early Mother's Day gift.

Seriously though this reeks of appeasement for Lebron. They wiil scramble to get him anything he wants, and they are playing risky cards right now. If they don't make the King happy, this trade could destroy Cleveland. If Lebron starts to feel like this is ruining his homecoming and his legacy, you know which way fingers will be pointing and Lebron will leap out of the Cavs like the Incredible Hulk sore back or not.

It reminds me of when they got old Shaq etc and fired Mike Brown etc grovelling to get him to stay. I think he has the power to do anything there - change there name to the chosen ones, bow down to him, not look him directly in the eye, let his son play a game this year. At his command.

    Maybe ESPN got it wrong.

    Lebron makes his teammates bitter.

    Well played Dion.

Cavs would have been better off trading Waiters for a C they really need and then adding Ray Allen a little bit earlier if they want a shooter.

Dion Waiters thinks he's better than Kyrie Irving. Lol.

But Waiters was a serious problem for them. And while I think there's levels of difficulty, I think JR is the more dangerous locker-room presence. JR has a proven track record of stupid actions. Waiters is immature, but that comes with his age. JR is immature and doesn't seem capable of fixing that.

waiters seems totally delusional, both in terms of what he attempts to do on the floor and what he says about these attempts off the floor.

smith has the worse track record as a human being, but he's a much more talented basketball player, though just as stupid.

I would want neither, thank you.
