What significance do the letters KRL have for you, Mr. Divac?

Article points out if we get the top 3 pick, we could offer it and Ingram for George. Gotta give to get, but damn I'd hate to part with Ingram. Also mentions that George would like to play with Hayward. If true, I throw every dollar I have to offer at Hayward this summer. Heck, if not true I still beg Hayward on my hands and knees to sign here and save us.

I think "sign with us for the max and we'll bring in Paul George after you" is a pretty damn good selling point.

Probably not good enough, but hey maybe he'd at least give it a listen. I don't think Gordon has that Hollywood mentality, but I've had my eye on him for years.

Why would we even give up all that for PG? Especially if he doesn't make the all NBA team. The most I'd give up oils be a package around Randle, even then I might just wait if we get a decent FA this off season.

Yeah, again, we have the leverage here. PG doesn't want us to give up all our assets for him and he's planning on coming here anyway.

The most they'll get now is Randle+Clarkson or Russell+Moz+Hou 1st. Hell, they could even start out with Randle+Hou 1st.

So PG is hinting that we should throw everything and the kitchen sink at Hayward this summer?

So I'm not an insider, and I don't claim to be. But I do know a guy who directly knows Hayward. Hayward's got mad love for Boston and Brad Stevens. I personally have never spoke to Hayward, but this guy isn't someone to just make up stuff.

Now that Magic is at the helm, and his relat
(bleep) no. HELL no. If that is what Bird wants, no way. Clarkson, Randle, top 3 and the Houston 1st and that's as far as I would go. If the Lakers get another top 2, than I would be shocked if Larry Bird didnt take that deal. Getting Ball or Fultz would be a great pick up for Larry.

If the Lakers make that trade, they now have their SG for the next 7 years. They have to get a PF now. Go after Blake Griffin and the Lakers starting lineup looks like this:

    Zubac
    Griffin
    Ingram
    Paul George
    Russell

    That is a playoff team.

It's definitely something I've heard before. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest and it would make a ton of sense for Hayward and Boston.

I'd still try to make a pitch if Hayward was willing to listen.

Basically he said Hayward isn't overly concerned about the money and he's not a huge fan of living in Utah (can't imagine many people are). Last time my friend spoke with him was a few months back. But he really likes Stevens. He really wants to play for him.

Like I said, all that makes perfect sense. It's the right fit. Let's not pretend a talented, white wing player won't do well in Boston. All I'm saying is if I'm the Lakers I see what I can do to get a meeting and try to wow him. There's other reasons to come to LA besides money, but we can still make sugarplum fairies dance if we need to. It is highly, highly unlikely he'd come here, but still get the meeting if you can. Better yet, trade for Paul George already and then go meet with Hayward. That talk gets much more interesting, much quicker.

Oh I agree that we make a pitch. I'm just telling you what I have heard from someone who knows the guy. If we got Hayward and George, who plays where with the rest of our youth? Zubac is good, but Randle is our pf I suppose? Russell is back to pg? I think it's a playoff team. But that puts a lot of pressure on Randle, Russell and Zubac to become not just good players, but at least one of them needs to become an all-star.

Yeah it's interesting we hear Ingram/Top 3 for George, right? I wouldn't make that deal. I'd prefer to hold on to Ingram. I'd push Randle/Top-3/Hou 1st/+ one of Nance or Tarik. That's a fantastic haul for a guy who is expiring. Heck I might include one of our crap deals to make it work financially.

Either way, if we could hold on to two of: Russell, Randle, Clarkson, Ingram, Zubac, Nance Jr., and Tarik Black while also adding George and Hayward it'd be a massive win. I don't know what you do with Deng, but Mozgov would make a fine backup Center behind Zubac. It might make more sense to start Mozgov even and then have Zubac anchor the bench with his scoring ability.

Jc/randle/top 3 pick is what id offer, hou pick i want to keep, cheap role player. Would not give them Ingram, dont make mistake like pacers did and giving up their pick that turned into Leonard.

Or if birds wants proven assests than dlo/randle/hou 1st, use tje rop 3 pick and hope its ball or fultz
