If we lose our pick, would Philly accept DAR + HOU pick for their 1st?

They'd still have our #4 or #5 pick this year. And DAR and Simmons are good buddies.

I've said since day one and I'll say it again. Never liked DAR and his attitude. Hes got some talent, but its wasted with the lack of competitiveness and arrogance.
Im on the trade em boat. Don't care how much everyone on here hates on me for it.

5 points, 6 fouls, 7 TOs...2 for 10 from the floor and 0-5 from downtown...

All against a team that plays absolutely no defense.

I doubt it. We've killed his trade value. It will be obvious we want to get rid of him so why would anyone give up an early first round pick for him? Especially with several great PG choices there for the taking.

Rage on about Russell and not liking him but this wasn't a smart move. We already knew Clarkson wasn't the answer and we've significantly lowered his trade value.

Goddamn.... sometimes I worry about children of some fans.

The funniest thing - this kind of s*** can ruin the young guy and his career may end up being a disappointment. And these same people will use that fact as the proof that they were right all along.

Big surprise, you punish and berate your child and he grows up 1) hating you 2) nearly a sociopath 3) not nearly as successful as you expected

We may as well shut him down for the season as well if we are going to continue bringing him off the bench.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger right?

Shoot, if they need to be handled like children, they don't belong in the NBA. Try going in the military at 18 and see how they care about your feelings.

    Man up!

A shot at how some of us raise children?

You realize this is a business and not a living room, Zen. I'm not responsible for holding his hand. I'm not responsible for holding him tenderly while he throws a tantrum. He is responsible for coming to work like a professional. He is responsible for the way he acts on and off the court.

And whether you're referring to me or not, I find that to be a pretty personal shot to take.

If it's 21-5-4 good, then I put you in the starting lineup and praise you. Why would I do anything else?

You see the results of "babying" him vs. "being an a******" to him. Wouldn't you rather have the former D'Angelon?

This is precisely what I was thinking when I went to bed last night. When I think of clueless authority types who destroy people, I see sports as one of the common background threads. This bizarre attitude is far more prevalent in boys' sports than in girls'.
