I would concur with you sir! BI might not be the star but the kid is a perfect option #2 or #3 on a very very good winning team.

No complaints, never wants the attention, goes out and "DO YOUR JOB"!

His game really has come a long way...

he was unwatchable early in the season but has put together a very solid string of very good games.

That mid-range shot, even the pull up shot has been really consistent since the ASG Break. Great to see!

More aggressive. Finding spots in the defense to take his shot and not hesitating.

But we don't know how to mentor young players, so I have no idea how he is succeeding.

2 out of 5 ain't bad. Some call it a coin flip. Others call it successful player development.

Yeah, 2/6 isn't bad. The other 4 are servicable role players at the very least.

It would have been nice to go 3/4 like GSW or OKC, but at least all of them are healthy. Don't forget there are teams like Portland and Philly that can't catch a break with injuries.

I could probably dunk if I had his arms. I might look funny, but hey, Ball is Life.

that's good, though i prefer his drive and cram on the greek freak. MOAR PLZ. so nice to see him starting to finish drives as the season progresses. early in the year, he was laying that up weak and getting it swatted repeatedly.

Still isn't getting the "thinking" shots to fall - with 26% threes and 48% FTs in his last ten games, but over that stretch, he's shooting 51% on FGs, and he's averaging 12.8 points, 2.5 assists, and 3.8 rebounds with 1.0 steals, and 0.7 blocks. That's exciting. Seven straight games with double digit points. And, by the way, he fell off the Rookie Ladder.

This is the sort of game that has me reaaaaally thinking... You look at his stat line of 11/1/4/2/1 and it maybe doesn't pop off the page, but I thought this was one of his better games. He impacted the game on offense and defense in ways he simply couldn't do early in the year. He's starting to really understand the pace of the NBA and the timing in ways he couldn't understand early in the year. Challenge: next game watch how often Ingram goes one-on-one in an isolation situation and makes the right play. It's brilliant to see from a 19 year old kid. He gives defenders a little rock dribble and then either pulls up if he's got space or attacks the rim. Next season, that's going to be dangerous. In two years it's going to be deadly. Defensively he can still improve in leaps and bounds, but the fact that he can improve and hasn't plateaued is important for a kid his age with the expectations we have for him. I loved his game last night and thought he was underrated.

Case in point: He is the only starter that had a positive +/- for the Lakers.
