Stat snapshot for Ingram vs other rookies (I tried to look it up for you @John3:16 but failed):

-He leads rookies in minutes by over 200 total minutes played with 1720 minutes (Brogdon is next with 1517, then Sabonis with 1288).
-Despite that many minutes, he's fourth in scoring behind Brogdon, Hield, and Murray at 503 points.
-He is 5th in FGm and 4th FGa, but he is 35th in FG% (keep in mind there's no minimum)
-He is 5th in 3PTm and tied for 3rd in 3PTa, but he is 20th in 3PT%
-He is 1st in both FTm and FTa, but 30th in FT% (keep in mind there's no minimum so some guys are at 100%)
-He is 1st in total rebounds (1st on DefReb, 3rd on OffReb)
-He is 4th in assists at 120 (Brogdon is 1st at 248, Whitehead is 2nd at 148)
-He is 3rd in TOs at 79 (Whitehead is 1st at 108, Brogdon at 92)
-He is tied for 7th in steals with 28 (Brogdon is 1st with 70, Dunn is 2nd at 49)
-He is 3rd in blocks behind Siakam and Chriss
-He is 4th in total fouls
-He is dead last among rookies in +/- with a net -243 (Brogdon is 1st with +114)

However! If I make the minimum of 500 minutes (that means the person has played at least 5 minutes in 60 games this year which is only 14 rookies:
    -Still leads minutes easily
    -Still 4th in points
-Still 5th in FGm and 4th in FGa, but last in FG%
-He is still 5th in 3PTm and tied for 3rd in 3PTa, but he is 11th out of 14 in 3PT%
-FTa and FTm are the same rankings, but he is 12th out of 14 in FT%
-He is still last in +/- but a -10 on Marquese Chriss, there are only two rookies with a positive +/-: Brogdon at +114 and Murray at +10

Brogdon is the steal of the draft and great counter balance for the Thon Maker pick. Is he undrafted?

Spurs allowing 11.4 to SFs. Only one other team holding them under 13.

Are you trying to make a case that BI doesn't suck?

A lot of ridiculous calls against BI tonight. No impact due to foul trouble today. Really wanted to see brown vs Ingram tonight. Brown looks good too he's physically NBA ready compared to Ingram

Bad calls doesn't keep him from shooting the ball. He took 2 shots last night. I ripped Russell for this sort of game, Ingram is no different. That's unacceptable.

Yeah 2 shots is unacceptable. Now that he's played 62 NBA games, he no longer gets the rookie treatment from me. I will criticize him the same as the other kids.

Pretty frustrated with how Ingram has progressed...also more frustrated that Jaylen Brown, the guy that was taken right after Ingram, thoroughly outplayed him tonight and on top of that, is getting minutes now on a winning team and he's looking better and better each game.

I just hope that we didn't make a mistake in drafting Ingram or heck not trading him for Cousins.

I thought that Ingram had a breakthrough in January but it looks like he's going to be inconsistent to end this year. And on top of that...he's getting so many minutes and just not doing enough in those minutes. Heck, we've benched DENG in favor of Ingram too. I don't get why he hasn't put up monster numbers yet.

I think Ingram is going to be better than Brown, but Brown has progressed well recently and had a much more NBA ready body than Ingram did.

I'm giving BI a mulligan rookie year. I'm happy he got the minutes he's getting to get use to the strength and speed of the NBA.

This offseason BI better get a nutritionist and be eating 24/7 because he needs to come to camp in the fall at 205-210. BI do it for your own safety, you saw how strong the NBA guys are, you're going to get eaten alive next year if you don't pack on weight/muscle and add some strength.

Gain weight? Hmm, why didn't I think of that?

Joking! Obviously I agree, but pretty sure he's got people helping him with that. It's just going to take some time to mature and fill out.

Good game by Ingram tonight, had some nice post ups and iso moments against the shorter defender. They really need to start posting him up more at the elbow or baseline and let him make plays there, good things tend to happen bc he's a mismatch nightmare to opposing teams.

If he is making progress indeed, thats fine and he can take a year or two. But if he comes to camp at 190...then thats a real problem.

first shot of the game, he sprints off a screen towards the corner, catches and shoots quickly, buckets. how in the world can he execute that kyle korver s*** and then not make folks pay for ignoring him standing at the three point line. this has to be between the ears at this point.

Or wide open mid-range in the short pick and roll?

He thinks too much. Pretty normal for a young kid, but boy would his game open up if he just trusted himself. This hesitation though is why I told everyone he wasn't a new Durant coming in. It's not in his mindset to be that way.

I said the same thing. The kid might look like Durant but he's never shown the sort of aggressiveness necessary to be Durant. Didn't happen in college and it's not happening now. If we're lucky he could be Kawhi, but he looks like a plus version of Prince so far.
