Hmm, I would have thought JC would have the least value out of all our young core, but it seems teams were/are interested. Hopefully one of those teams were the Pacers, because this offseason there could be some discussions.
I'd guess teams were trying to see if they could snake some of our young kids in the aftermath of our FO upheaval.
yeah, stagnation or not, he makes 12 per for the duration of his prime, and he's a legit rotation player. people are going to want that. i'm guessing they were offering jack squat, though.
Nice game from Clarkson. Still tries to do a little too much but looks much better without Lou next to him.
I think this is a fluke, and will continue to do so until he does this consistently. He had a chance to take control when everyone was injured, and he shrunk away and regressed. Went from my favorite player to one of the most disappointing.
I don't think it's a fluke. Jordan was pretty open that he struggled to find his place next to Lou. Without Lou on the team, Jordan isn't thinking so much and he's just playing more naturally. I don't know if he'll ever recapture what he was playing like before he got paid, but I've liked what I've seen the last two games.
I believe in Clarkson, and hope he takes the next step in growth soon. And I hope eventually I can quit thinking of Javaris Crittenton everytime I hear JC.
Not surprised because Magic loves him. Not that it means anything but I've heard Magic talk more about JC than Russell. Again, I don't think you can take anything from that at this time but its interesting that he feels so highly about JC.
Or because he knows Clarkson has a bigger contract and would rather move him and use him in a trade of some sort this offseason. You can't trust Magic on anything he says about any of our players since he is now acting in a role where he needs GM's to believe EVERY player on our roster is the bee's knees. In fact, given his current position, if he says nothing about one of our guys, it's quite possible that he has zero intentions of moving him and wants to keep him.
