He didn't win, but at least he didn't offer a pathetic showing. 18 points isn't bad.

I wish Nick could have got into the second round. He ended up fourth equal (tied with last years winner Klay)

He did well despite not having a super quick release, and was one money ball that rimmed out short of hitting the next round.

He can hold his head high. When you consider 20 was the winning score, and Eric Gorden with 25 in the first round was the only person who stood above the rest.

I think he would have won if he could have made it to the next round. I thought he would either be abysmal or dominate, in the end he got a high middle result.

Yep, tied with Klay at least lol, alot better than Mathews who i had a feeling was going to embarass himself. That guy is an in gm shooter and was already having a bad shooting yr, not sure why he was invited

On the fence about Swaggy. He's definitely played well for us this year and I could see keeping him if the price was right next season, especially if we can't land a top tier FA yet. He has been playing good D and he's been working well in the offense.

On the other hand I don't want to lose him for nothing. Guess the offers weren't that great for him.

Let's see what happens. I wanted him moved for a pick, but he's ours now (again). So, let's see - if we can't bring in a star, I'm okay with offering a single season at a healthy overpay to hold down the fort for another season.

Yeah we'll have to see. Does he give up more cash to stay again? I don't know.

We'll see - Nick is one of those players for whom Magic's presence really does matter. Doesn't Nick clearly want some of that magic?

Probably. I mean, just knowing Magic a bit. He'll challenge him and see what Swaggy's made of. Swaggy might respond.

Johnson will have an effect... Young enjoys attention and praise. Same with Ingram, Nance and Zu all of whom have focus. Clarkson is open. Brewer if around will be steady. Uuummm...that is everyone I can think of at the moment. :)

I think Nick has already responded, but is he kind of a winner that magic wants in the locker room? I have my doubts...

Yeah I'm sure we got offered a 2nd Round Pick for him but we also had to take another contract back

I hope most of that 500k was in jewelry or I'll have to question what Swaggy is up to with that much cash.
