Ainge knows his team isn't beating both the Cavs and the Warriors in the next 2-3 years even by adding a PG and another FA this summer . He expects his young players + futures picks to be good enough in 4-5 years , that's why he's not eager to give up on the picks . However if you have a sure shot at being a top3-4 team in the league , I think you still have to take it . If I were a fan of a team in a such situation , I would become crazy if my GM didn't make a blockbuster trade . As a non fan with an objective POV , I still would be 70%-30% in favor of a big trade
Nah we are the only team that wants him and he wants us. We can just sit back and let the stars funnel here. We've only heard that every superstar wants to come here until they don't or some other team trades for them. Don't worry if we lose PG, we have Westbrook and Davis coming so we will be alright.
Don't know how I feel about it, obviously would love to keep our young talent but a part of me says just get the superstar here and more will come. Can't keep waiting around hoping someone eventually comes.
Someone is leaking something to Windhorst completely different than what Woj is hearing. I trust Woj more.
If it's not Lebron related, Windhorst is worthless. Dude owes his entire career to ball-washing his majesty.
from everything i'm reading, i'll be shocked if he doesn't end up in boston and like people have mentioned, that team definitely makes it to the ECF and he won't leave a better situation in boston to come to LA in 2018 maybe indy accepts randle/clarkson/1st rounder? i'd really hate to see russ or ingram dealt
C's can have him...they're not beating Clev anyways. I dont want to get gutted and still lose PG a yr from now
I honestly don't know why Boston won't offer the pick. Isn't this what they've been waiting for with the stockpiling of picks? Somethings gotta give and I think PG ends up in green.
Just wishful thinking... I personally don't believe a deal will be done today from both clubs. If Lakers keep the pick it'll be very very interesting, I think we can get more than one star to L.A
