I see opposing teams attacking Zu in the post send him into foul trouble and throwing doubles once they figure out that he can do some damage. As thereadeal stated, it will catch up to him so developing some counters or honing court awareness is in order. Playing time will work all of that out.

Moz will still take his share of the minutes to ease Zu's learning curve being a young buck after all. Isn't Shaw our player development lead? He did alright with Moz at Denver pre-mutiny so there's no reason he can't do the same for Zu.

If his last name was Gasol he would've been a lottery pick.

I think they've handled his situation perfectly so far. He was not ready for consistent NBA play at the start of the season. Letting him watch from the bench, working him hard in practice, playing him in the D-League, not rushing him has been the smart move. I also agree with realdeal, I don't care if he starts, not sure he even should. If he's doing so well where he's at against backups, why not let that continue, who cares if he starts considering he can still finish games if he's playing well. No need to rush him, let him keep that confidence up, put him in the best position to succeed at this young age. I like that he's lost a little weight, looks in a bit better basketball shape, push him to continue to focus on that, because his game is already pretty polished and his body needs to catch up.

What was my line? Something about can't wait to get my hands on his body? Whatever it was, that.

To our FO for another stellar find and pick. Amazing how good they are at finding players.

I don't know. I presume Mitch had something to do with Jc. Who on earth is scouting Zu? That's lookingikr literally an 8 figure discovery already.

We have an international scout we use overseas (very highly regarded) and was instrumental in pinpointing Zubac and suggesting to our FO that we take a serious look at Zubac.

Any idea if he was the same one who found Marc Gasol?

yes but I know when they were scouting Zubac Mitch had made the trip oversees to see him. But said those 3 of Jesse, Ryan, and Mitch have most of the discussions.
