Pagonis is 6'4" and 240 lbs. with a 76" reach.
Milicic is 7" and 275 lbs. with a 7'5" wingspan.

    Wow.

Oh I can't stand Milicic and would love to see him lose this fight, but uh... whew. Going to be hard to get inside on a guy like that. You have to imagine he's not as fast as a real kickboxer. The dude should run circles around him.

I'm something of a Darko fan, honestly, but I can't see him beating a legit kickboxer. The speed and the training - it takes years to master.

I always thought he had a salty attitude in the NBA. One that didn't match his talent level. As for kickboxing, yeah that's a mistake. That's not going to be any easier on him than the NBA was.

He lost (he cut his leg and the reff stopped it, at least that's what i think happened). Raised a lot of $ for a sick girl though :)

Whenever I think of Darko, I think of that insane rant he gave during the olympics, where he threatened the female family members of various refs.

Was that Olympics? I remember the rant; I've seen translations of it, and it was some of the darkest stuff ever caught on film by a professional athlete.

Yes, the referees had "stolen" a victory from his team. I almost posted it but felt it while funny (in just being SO wrong), it also crosses a line of violence, offensiveness and poor sportsmanship. The guy threatens sexual violence on every immediate member of the referees family (according to the translation).

The hype clip posted above had an interesting comment on youtube. Someone posted that as a Pistons fan they wished that both Darko and Dumars got beaten up. If you can't win a fight at 7 feet with the reach advantage you probably don't have a lot of talent to begin with.
