I think he will make a huge jump in his second year when he has 6 months to prep for next year.

I love this guy. He is awesome. I can't wait for him to hit his prime. Going to be a joy to watch.

He's finally realizing he can take his man to the basket, and either score or get fouled. In another year, he'll realize he can do this almost at will.

I still stand by my earlier assessment this season - he is going to be our best young player. It might take a couple/few years but I think he will get there and be a better all around player than Russell, Randle, Clarkson, Nance. Will he be a star? Don't know. But he's going to be a darned good player at least and the finest of our current bunch.

I say it will be Zubac in 2 years. About that time the league will be crapping their pants. Especially if we have a great FA signing.

tell me how to be positive when we had cap room for 3 straight yrs and the best we mustered from it is Mosgov and Deng....yes I can be positive but I'm not naive either and ignore FACTS, fact is Jim/Mitch progression with FA is getting worse, at least in the beginning we had opportunities to present to guys like Melo, then it went to begging to meet Aldridge, then to using statements like "Durant should give lakers a meeting because of our history," to now finally signing 2 over paid over the hill players who wont even grow with the team

I just mean it seems that's all you ever focus on. The bad. How many times do you ever lighten up and he happy once in awhile about a good performance from a player or hopes for their future or a good game every once in awhile from the team that gives a glimpse of what you'd hope for the future. Do you ever enjoy them short of a trophy? There have been some nice moments every once in awhile if you look for them. Whatever. Post as you like.

    YOu
Do you ever see me posting threads like "we're making the playoffs" or "we have the deepest big man rotations" in the league? Nor am I saying we're the worse in the league or we always suck....I dont get high on the highs or get down on every bad thing, I look at facts, I'm sure the players will develop into something but I'll be honest I NEVER had any faith in this mgmt. when it came to trades and fa acquisitions over the last 3 yrs, all they've done IMO is over sold and under delivered.

I notice you only mention FA acquisitions for the past 3 years in your evaluation of the FO. You don't mention the fact that we should of had NO first round picks the last few years and we should of had a slightly competitive team that played about .500 ball each of these last years with a healthy (albeit old) Kobe and Nash and lost all it's first round picks. Where would we be now? I know it's luck but whatever. It's all we can get during times like that is luck and it went our way. How about our 2nd round picks? Clarkson, Nance Jr, Zuback? How about the aquisition of Luke Walton and subsequent resurrection of Nick Young? How about Lou Williams at 7 mil a year?

Let me ask, with a no-chance-of-coming-back-from injuries Kobe and Nash and their contracts strangling us which is a situation no one predicted, and nothing but rookie draft picks since (hence the word "rebuild") how well do you think someone else would have done in the GM chair? Do you really think we could lure a Durant, Westbrook, Melo, Derozan, Lamarcus Aldridge, all of whom can not afford to wait around for a rebuild?? Please. Even guys we had a chance at like Whiteside would be a risk at max and from their POV, why leave a comfortable situation to join a rebuild elsewhere when the can stay and get max? Who is it that you think we could have got in FA? And explain how it was possible.

We hadnt had any 1st rd picks till now cause of mgmt as well....dont leave out facts. Mitch/Jim has been trading and selling 1st rd picks for yrs, as if it was a disease they didnt want to contract. So you ask me why would those fa choose us, then let me ask you, why didnt mgmt think about that question when they tried to lure them? Maybe if they thought bout it realitically then we wouldn't had miss valued productive fa like ed davis and IT who really wanted to be here, especially IT would is at least a valuable trade asset unlike Deng/Mozgov

He looked like a superstar tonight. He took over that 3rd quarter and sealed the victory for us.

He was more assertive offensively and defensively than I've ever seen him.

Now this version of Ingram, I see super star potential.
