Any updates on Boom Boom? Its been awhile and we could use at least one piece of our bench defensive anchors back.
Last I'd heard he's still not 100%, but even if he was Thomas Robinson has passed him in the rotation for now. Luke says Tarik isn't going to get big minutes while Thomas Robinson is playing this way.
I mentioned this in gameday, but I'll mention it here. I wish Tarik was a legit 7-footer, because unlike Mozgov, he actually challenges shots. Unfortunately, his smaller stature means he doesn't have the length to create angles that legit 7-footers can do, leading to 4 fouls in 15 minutes against Portland.
I loved Tarik's hustle and passion tonight. 14 points and 8 rebounds. He and Zu played well together.
Tarik definitely deserves some props tonight. All kinds of hustle rebounds, took a charge, 7 for 13 shooting. Great all around game.
Tarik is so good for us. I love his hustle and he is a pretty canny scorer around the rim. He's got more moves than I would expect from a hustle, undersized big guy. He's terrific.

Well, his contract is especially nice. He's at a reasonable salary ($6 million) and he has a 2nd year TO. Packaged with another player and a couple of 2nd rounder can yield something like a nice wing player. Then, we can give Zubac more mins...
