I don't have a clue what's happening with him. He looked so much better on both ends of the floor. Right now, he looks totally lost.
I think a young team with young players can have a hard time dealing with all these injuries and playing in different lineups like they are. Jordan will bounce back once the players get back into their usual rotation and rhythm with teammates.
He's been my biggest disappointment this season given how well he played his first two years. I think almost all of it is mental, but he's not in the right mindset right now at all. Can't shoot, can't defend, isn't as aggressive going at the rim as he used to be. I don't know who this kid is anymore.
Even though I "liked" your comment, I don't like it, meaning I don't liked what's happening. Hopefully he'll bounce back. I think the guys allowed the injuries to get them down.
Here's to hoping you nailed it. Teams young, it's the holidays and ish. Wanna fast forward to January.
His lack of playmaking is even more dissapointing than his shooting struggles , especially when DAR was out . He has regressing in this area , the tunnel vision while he's driving is mind blowing
I'm not too critical of Clarkson except the fact, that his 3 point shot is not as good as advertised during the summer. He has a role on this team which is to be a spark off the bench and he is just that. He might not be the playmaker people want but thats not his game or his personality. He is a combo guard who primarily attacks the rim and provides a punch. His ceiling was never supposed to be much higher than he is playing right now. He didn't have superstar or even a star written all over him. He was our best player the last couple of years, this year he is not anymore but that wasn't the plan going forward anyway.
he seems to be struggling the most with luke's system. it doesn't have easy places for guys like him, imo. now, if the lakers were better defensively, clarkson is the kind of guy who could really thrive on the break. but constantly pulling the ball out of the net is a problem there. as bad as the lakers have been on d, i really wonder if they should just start looking to force TOs and not worry about the cost (easy buckets for the opposition). that's what houston has done in the harden era: just don't quit fighting your personnel and try to create break opportunities. you can't give up more easy buckets than you already are. returning to the point: this might help guys like randle and clarkson on both ends.
got kursed and probably on his last contract before getting into brothels and getting high on crack. Harden got lucky it was just one season but he would never live down the year's Shaqtin' a fool crown and we know what happened to Lamar.
