Porzingod is 7'3". Doesn't need to get more manly that that.

Otherwise, physique-wise he is not more advanced than Russel.

one thing in zinger's favor was that he had been playing against men for a couple years. ingram and russell hadn't seen anything really close.

He's not ready for the NBA right now.

LOL. What does that mean. Red shirt him? How bout this ..... let's wait till at least until the 2nd half of his "rookie" season at 19 years of age before passing any judgement?

"Not ready for the NBA" just didn't sit well .... sorry. Look at all the advanced skills he is bringing to the floor as a skinny 19 year old 6'9" rookie with the wing span of a pterodactyl . I'm impressed. Screw sirron's arm folded squirrel.

I'm impressed with his defense. His inability to make an open shot or to have the confidence to take a shot within the flow of the system is concerning.

Right now I'd grade him as a C+. A on defense and a D on offense.

Bright side is his defense is only going to improve (lock down defender) and his offense will improve.

Agree with Walton, this was probably his best all around game this season. Started, played a ton of minutes, ended up with the near triple double 9,8 and 9! Not as bad shooting either with 4 of 10. He's just a kid. He's got tons of potential.

Career high in rebounds at 10 and assists with 9!

    Something to consider:

    Player A:

YR MIN PTS FG% 3P% FT% REB AST STL BLK
    1) 24.6 6.8 41.4 34.7 68.3 4.4 1.9 0.8 0.8
    2) 31.4 12.7 49.1 15.9 74.1 6.7 2.6 0.9 1.0
    3) 35.3 16.9 50.6 25.7 72.4 7.7 4.3 1.2 1.4
    4) 34.7 22.6 52.4 27.4 76.5 9.1 6.0 2.1 2.0

    Ingram:

YR MIN PTS FG% 3P% FT% REB AST STL BLK
    1) 27.1 7.7 34.7 27.5 71.0 4.0 2.0 0.5 0.5

Imagine if Brandon can develop along a similar path to Giannis Ante-rest-of-the-last-name-goes-here! Their wing span is close, 30lbs+ and an extra inch and they are comparable physically and relatively athletically. The thing that may define Luke's coaching tenure over the next 3 years will be if he continues to to put the ball in Ingram's hands to create for himself and others and force him to develop his total game. If we could have a poor man's greek freak with a better offensive game, we would be in seriously great shape.

His greatest game yet, I think and really showed his potential. A couple more shots go in and that's one hell of a line, especially being against the champs.

Both DAR and Ingram will be nice players . I don't think one of them will become franchise player material and lead us to a title though , which is what really matters for Lakers fans .

DAR will be fine but he won't be able to impact the game on both ends as bigger players do .

This is what is funny about the league for 5-6 seasons , everybody is talking about the importance of PGs but it's still the players at the others positions who will win you a title way more often than not .

Ingram with his length has a better chance to become that number 1 guy but as of now it's hard to picture him as a future 1st option offensively

Adding the upcoming new CBA and its designated player exception BS , it will be harder and harder to acquire one of the best players in the league in free agency or through trades .

This is why I have solid concerns about our chances to win a title within the 2020-2025 seasons

He's better as a starter. Might be time to make him one for the rest of the year.

That missed dunk, wide open dunk (second of the night) after BI's awesome pass made me want to throw up on Mosgov.

Ingram should start at PG and move luol Deng to the bench.

    Ingram/jc
    Dlo/lou
    Young/deng
    Randle/nance
    Mozzy/black

Better way to play our main 10 guys. And starting Ingram will speed up his game and assertiveness, and DLO plays good as a SG

I can almost guarantee this happens at some point this season. It needs to.
