    I wasn't expecting Deng to be a shiny new Ferrari but he's like a broken down Ford Pinto. Offense, defense....you've got to give me something.

    He does, and those are his best attributes right now. I just wish he was showing us something more on the floor. He's only 31. He shouldn't look this old and broken. He is at least rebounding. But his shot is not working and he's slow on D.

    I was being mildly sarcastic, I find those character traits not enough to justify his enormous contract. Especially when the team as a whole is filled with character guys.

    The only people I had reservations about were DLO and Young, but even they seem to be stable guys right now.

    Well he does look a step slow, but not THAT broken down. I think a large part of this current slump is just mental. We really just need him to spot up and hit open 3's. He still has good form, but is coming up short on a lot of his shots. It's in his head right now. I think he'll bounce back soon.

    But in year 4 when he's making $20 million and truly going to be washed up ... that's going to suck.

    But his shot is beyond broken right now. I'm optimistic though, because he can't play much worse than how he is playing right now.

    He's not going to let this affect his attitude, he'll still be a great leader and locker room presence.

    I'd be happy with 33-35% from 3 's at this point. He's not gona get better on D side IMO, to slow to guard fast SF, to soft to guard bigger SF and PF

    He didn't have a good game but at least he has been more aggressive these last two games. He's made 11 points at the free throw line. So he is trying.

    i still have faith Luol will figure it out, and given how well we're playing I think it's too early to make a change. if he's still looking like this 10-15 games from now, I might change my tune.
