Eh. I didn't think he played bad last night on either end. I really think that was Luke's first off night as a coach and he didn't manage minutes as well as he has in other games.

Umm no. I had high expectations too, but I'm not gonna write the kid off if he doesn't have this huge breakout year everyone wants to see. As long as we see gradual improvement that's just fine. Not everyone becomes a star in their second year.

i thought the same exact thing last night. I love everything Luke has done, but last night was the first time i really thought he made some mistakes, or at the very least showed his willingness to lose the game to make some points (Metta). In the end, it's one game and both the players and Luke will learn from it.

i've always agreed that russell yaps too much, but i actually think last night's game was a solid indication that he doesn't let that dominate his actions. what i mean is: it would be easy for someone as proud as russell to just start jacking shots and going iso when things go south (especially after seeing the media's infatuation with booker, who definitely does this). but he didn't. and he wasn't pointing fingers and such, either. i'm glad about these things.

his fg% (holy s***) and lazy turnovers (seriously, stop it) are the big concerns. the former *should* go away--he's a good shooter and doesn't force shots. the latter has been an issue from day one and hasn't abated one bit. again, stop it.

Hey Kenzo, DAR should be honored he is being compared to DFish, a guy who has won us 5 championships.

It's not about becoming a star at this point. I'm giving him until the end of the season. What's worrisome is that he's not even close to being our best player right now. In reality he's a borderline starter with how well Lou has been playing. I'm not OK with that.

Shoot the ball more consistently and turn it over less often and carelessly. Curry sure manages to get his points within the same type of system.

Curry is a superstar who has been playing in the same system longer than Russell.

Fish is one of the luckiest guys in the history of the NBA. Kobe made a career for both of them...

No doubt it was a benefit for Fish to play along side Kobe, but Kobe didn't hit those clutch threes for him. Kobe didn't body block Scola. Kobe didn't set the leadership tone during those years like Fish did.

Im not denying a fact, that Fish was an important player. He just wasn't very good.
Answer this honestly. Would you be ok with DAR becoming Fish 2.0. I sure as hell wouldn't.

Yeah because only players worthy of the 2nd pick are good. Come on man, that's unfair to Fish and you know it

Fish was clutch, and he wasn't always that terrible on D.
